• Hiruzen Sarutobi summoned Konoha’s elite ANBU and remaining Root ninja, then watched them depart northeast and examined Jiraiya’s request for the Flying Thunder God scroll.
• Kazeno reported to the Raikage that powerful opponents had attacked their group, and Shan Cao confirmed Kazeno’s intelligence was accurate.
