"Die!" the Jashin Cult Leader screamed hysterically. He moved so fast that even a Jonin would have fallen slightly short of his speed.

Nai Hyuga's gaze sharpened as she watched the figure charging toward her. A flicker of confusion crossed her eyes, but she had no time to work out his intentions.

"Hah! You have a death wish!" With a sharp cry, she raised her sword, ready to block him.

It worked... Delight flashed in the Jashin Cult Leader's eyes. He stopped short, twisted around, and took a wide detour toward Yui behind her.

As he brushed past Nai Hyuga, he even flashed her a mocking smile.

Nai Hyuga had not expected this. She stood frozen with her sword raised in both hands, her brows knitting together. Bewildered, she turned to look toward Yui. "Does this Jashin Cult Leader not want to die by my blade? Why insist on throwing himself at Yui instead?"

She sighed, lowering the arms that gripped Wave Breaker in disappointment. She could not help thinking, Was it because I was too cruel?
