"What?" Everyone present was somewhat stunned by the Jashin Cult Leader's words.
"There's someone else here?" Uchiha Su's scarlet Sharingan spun as he scanned their surroundings, but he still found no suspicious figure.
"Up there!" Nai Hyuga abruptly raised her head and looked toward the roof. Her Ice Release senses had just picked up a response there.
Sure enough, a woman in white robes appeared at the eaves a moment later. Her eyes were calm as she looked at the Jashin Cult Leader.
"Cult Leader, is what you said true?" Xiaocui asked.
"Yes, yes, yes, of course it's true!" The Jashin Cult Leader nodded hastily. Seeing the Lightning Release flying toward him, he dragged his battered body aside, barely dodging it.
He avoided the incoming Lightning Release Sword Aura, but even so, the powerful lightning conducted through the air, paralyzing his entire body and leaving him unable to move again.
"Damn it, Xiaocui, come block one attack for me, and I'll tell you where your son is." The Jashin Cult Leader dangled an enticing offer before her. "You only have to block one attack."
Seeing the person before him preparing to attack again, he had no choice but to resort to this desperate measure.
Xiaocui clenched her fists. In truth, she had already guessed where her son was, but she had never dared dwell on it.
After a moment of deliberation, she was ready to agree.
