The swarm of Red Ants surged forward, only to strike empty air. Kazama Ya had vanished without a trace.
"Damn it, how did he run so fast?!" The Red Ant Queen cursed furiously under her breath, then fixed her gaze on the figure on the ground. "Hmph, since I can't catch that fellow, I'll make a meal of you instead."
With that, the Red Ants seemed to find their target and flew toward Yui.
Without Chakra to sustain it, the Invisibility Cloak draped over Yui had stopped working. Now she drew the attention of every Red Ant.
They blotted out the sky in a dense swarm, converging on Yui's body, all eager for a feast they had not tasted in so long.
One by one, the Red Ants crawled onto Yui's body. They brandished their enormous mandibles, but just as they were about to feast, pale purple mist seeped out of her left arm.

"That thing is still around? This must be that fellow's handiwork."
Her tone grew somewhat grave, and she quickly made a decision. "Let's go. This person won't survive anyway. There's no need for us to bother."
