"I, I-I, I..." Big Bear stammered, clutching his head with both hands. He seemed to have genuinely foreseen something terrible.
Seeing Big Bear in this state, Nai Hyuga grew even more anxious. She had no idea what to do.
"Nai Hyuga, did something happen?" Only then did Orochimaru seem to realize something was amiss. Neither of them seemed quite right.
Nai Hyuga came back to her senses and shook her head in distress. "I don't know..."
"You two..." Orochimaru shook his head helplessly. With both of them in this state, all he could do was wait and see.
Nai Hyuga refused to give up. She shook Big Bear with both hands, trying to find out what had caused his reaction. "Big Bear, what's wrong? Is Yui really in danger?"
Even now, she clung to a shred of hope. She hoped she had simply been mistaken and that Yui might not be in danger after all.
Under Nai Hyuga's persistent shaking, Big Bear unsteadily came to his senses, his muttering coming to a stop. He looked around blankly, then quickly seemed to realize something and abruptly sat upright.
"This is bad..." he cried out urgently. "Nai Hyuga, where are you? Something's wrong!"
His gaze swept over his surroundings before he finally noticed Nai Hyuga standing right in front of him.
"Big Bear, what happened to you just now? Why were you acting like that?" Nai Hyuga still held a little hope that something else had gone wrong with Big Bear, rather than anything bad happening to Yui.
But what Big Bear said next struck her like a bolt of lightning, leaving her frozen in place.
"Nai Hyuga, Miss Yui... Miss Yui seems to be in danger." Big Bear stepped forward and looked up into Nai Hyuga's eyes, his anxiety plain on
