Yui's expression gradually grew grave. She had never expected there to be another creature in the Black Mist Space. What exactly was it? She had noticed nothing at all when exploring this space earlier...
It was like suddenly finding another person in a room that had held only you, startling you and putting you on guard at the same time.
The unknown creature wandered along the edge of her Byakugan's field of vision. It was too far away. Even with the Byakugan, she could only make out a blurry, slender outline that looked somewhat human.
"A person?" Yui's brows drew together. How could a person suddenly appear here? Or was it not human at all?
What she saw only deepened her confusion. How could there be anyone here? Aside from the few of them who had come from outside, could there be other people sealed inside the Totsuka Blade?
If it really was someone who already inhabited the Totsuka Blade's sealed space, wouldn't that be dangerous? Anyone sealed by the Totsuka Blade was no ordinary threat. They might prove just as troublesome and difficult to handle as Kazama Ya.
At the thought of that possibility, Yui instantly grew even more wary.
That also made her hesitate over whether to approach. Fortunately, the humanoid figure was not moving toward her.
Its route, however, was rather puzzling.
The humanoid figure seemed unable to distinguish the directions around it. After walking forward a short distance, it turned and circled back to where it had started, then headed off in another direction. It repeated this over and over, leaving Yui thoroughly bewildered.
