Electrolux was an exceptionally powerful light-system mage before turning to necromancy. He developed Light-attribute Necromancy, combining his earlier mastery of light with research into life and death. He also created several independent demiplanes during his lifetime. However, the darkness within him prevented him from completing his desired sacred realm, the Bright Half-Plane 24.

His recollection of his death is initially incomplete. He believes his powerful soul tore through space as he died, leaving a fragment of divine consciousness that reached Douluo Star. Although he remembers once carrying profound hatred, his surviving consciousness contains peace rather than that former darkness 20 21.

Huo Yuhao deliberately seeks him after rejecting the Child of Destiny identity. The system confirms that Electrolux’s otherworldly origin leaves their fated encounter intact. When the Sky Dream Ice Silkworm encounters Huo Xingling, Electrolux descends as a gray current and enters Yuhao instead 1 20.

In his original world, Electrolux spent countless years investigating possible paths to godhood, including ascension through faith. He studied ancient texts, historical records, and ruins, but the restrictions of that world’s laws prevented him from gathering faith and becoming a god. He ultimately died with this ambition unfulfilled 208.

His recovery on Douluo Star develops into a second career as a researcher and institutional founder. As Supreme Elder of the Undead Holy Magic Cult, he supplies the magical methods that make Yuhao’s proposed alternative to murderous Evil Soul Master cultivation workable. Appearance

Electrolux initially manifests as an elderly, spectral man whose indistinct form becomes more solid as his divine soul recovers. The Blade of Life later gives him a tangible energy body, and his physical body gradually takes shape after his soul fully recovers 20 24 60 213.

Personality

Electrolux judges powers by their use rather than their reputation. He rejects the idea that necromancy is inherently wicked and insists that invoking an ability’s evil nature does not excuse its wielder’s wrongdoing. Nevertheless, he acknowledges that methods built around stealing life and power can encourage corruption 21 29.

He is a research-driven mentor fascinated by Douluo Star’s martial souls, Soul Rings, Soul Beasts, and unusual energy rules. Discovering a receptive student gives him renewed purpose after a lifetime spent alone. Huo Yuhao’s willingness to offer him the gold of life turns his initially impulsive acceptance of a disciple into a sincere commitment to passing on his legacy 21 23 29.

His confidence is theatrical but supported by his abilities. He dismisses formidable beasts as worms, puppies, or mudfish, prompting Yuhao to privately regard him as a “King of show-offs.” He also praises his disciple’s achievements openly and treats unexpected planar phenomena seriously when they exceed his experience 26 36 43.

Electrolux does not equate righteousness with gentleness. He encourages a heart directed toward light while accepting decisive killing when necessary. Although he initially praises Yuhao’s refusal to submit to moral blackmail, he later welcomes the compassion revealed by Yuhao’s grief over Luoyun Village 32 47.

His warmth is highly selective. He indulges Yuhao and takes his wishes seriously, but remains proud and distant toward others. His treatment of Zhang Peng is practical: he grants powerful spells to ensure the cult’s deputy leader is not an embarrassment, while considering loyalty guaranteed because the inscribed rings place Zhang Peng’s life under his control 63.

His holy attributes do not make him pacifistic. During the confrontation with Gu Yuena, he orders a massacre of captive soul beasts to pressure her; the narration states that the lives lost at his hands number in the hundreds of millions. He also treats the Beast Tide’s corpses, souls, and Soul Rings as useful resources for necromancy and research 81 103.

He supports Yuhao’s desire to let people with evil martial souls live openly, praising the cult’s framework as an era-changing achievement.
