The medicinal plant was no more than three inches long. It looked as though it had been carved from gold and jade, shaped like a dragon's body and blooming with strands of golden light. Spiritual Qi permeated it as a whole.
"What is a Dragon Blood Vine?" Die asked curiously.
"Legend says it is a vine bathed in dragon blood. It resembles a dragon's body and needs flesh and blood as nourishment," Chen Mo said. "From the looks of it, this Dragon Blood Vine has already evolved into a Demigod medicine."
The women were all startled upon hearing this.
Queen Medusa then touched another skeleton beneath a different tree and discovered that every skeleton contained a Dragon Blood Vine.
"It seems that after these Ancient cultivators fell, their corpses became fertilizer for the Dragon Blood Vines," Nangong Jinse said in astonishment.
"Hurry and dig them up. Do not damage their roots and stems. The roots and stems are the most precious part of a Dragon Blood Vine."
After speaking, Chen Mo took out a jade shovel and carefully began digging.
Seeing this, the five women got to work as well.
In less than fifteen minutes, all the Dragon Blood Vines had been dug up.
There were twenty-seven in total.
"It seems our trip into the Inner World has yielded quite a good harvest," Nangong Mu'er said with a smile.
"Since we are done digging them up, let us go to the next place," Chen Mo said.
The six of them continued deeper into the Inner World.
The farther they went, the more the fog gradually dispersed. The terrain rose and fell, ancient trees were scattered sparsely about, and one could see far into the distance at a glance. Spiritual Qi was abundant, yet venomous insects and fierce beasts were rare.
