Chen Mo rescued Die, fought to protect her from mercenaries and Queen Medusa, and was taken to the Snake-People Clan as the queen’s slave. Die regained her identity and chose Chen Mo as her Dao companion before entering the God Temple, while Chen Mo began training under Queen Medusa.

• Chen Mo bound Die as his goddess, defeated the mercenaries pursuing her, and took her away after she asked him to spare their lives.
• Chen Mo and Die escaped through the desert, where he cultivated Kunpeng Wings and broke through to Two-Star Dou Master before mercenaries shot him down.
• Chen Mo fought the Sinister Man to protect Die, was struck by a poisoned arrow, and survived after Die carried him to a cave and treated him.

Chen Mo deepened his bond with Queen Medusa while cultivating in the Snake-People Clan, then traveled with her to find the Green Lotus Core Flame. After they escaped the Magma World with the flame, Chen Mo killed two Dou Wangs who tried to take it, while Hai Bo Dong attacked him and Queen Medusa.

• Queen Medusa recognized Chen Mo’s pendant as the other half of her Heart-Connecting Pendant, and Chen Mo earned her favor through their fights, apologies, and acts of care.
• Chen Mo obtained Queen Medusa’s blood essence, strengthened his body, and survived an assassination attempt by Mo Bas before Queen Medusa protected him and made him her personal guard.
• Chen Mo persuaded Queen Medusa to travel with him to Mo City, where she revealed the Green Lotus Core Flame’s location and rescued Ruo Lin and Xiao Yu from Desert Flame Wolves.
• Chen Mo and Queen Medusa defeated a Dark Gold Magic Tiger King and an Azure Lightning Blood Eagle, but the tiger’s Bloodline Skill wounded Queen Medusa.

After she finally returned his feelings but struggled over Die, Chen Mo prepared to leave for the Jia Ma Empire, and Queen Medusa chose to go with him in disguise.

• Chen Mo defeated Hai Bo Dong with his golden Dharma body, but Queen Medusa carried the unconscious Chen Mo away and returned wounded to the royal palace.
• Chen Mo used the Fire Lotus Seeds to help Queen Medusa recover, discovered his Human Emperor Bloodline, and confessed that he liked her, beginning a three-month pursuit that earned him the Great Sage Art after he kissed her.
• Hai Bo Dong, Gu He, and their allies attacked the Snake-People royal city while Queen Medusa was cultivating, and Chen Mo fought Hai Bo Dong and Gu He until Jia Xing Tian moved to seize him.

• Chen Mo and Queen Medusa traveled to Jia Ma Holy City, where he passed the Three-Star Alchemist examination before returning with Queen Medusa and Ling Cai to the Snake-People royal city.
• Queen Medusa sent Hua She Er to destroy a gang trafficking Snake-Women, while Chen Mo tended to Queen Medusa and grew closer to her.
• Han Feng led Jia Xing Tian, Fan Lao, and other allies against the royal city, and Chen Mo and Queen Medusa joined the Snake-People in battle.
