• Chen Mo and Die kept their relationship secret as Queen Medusa began her evolution, but Han Feng and Protector Wū attacked the royal city to seize Chen Mo and the Heavenly Flame.
• Chen Mo fought Han Feng and Protector Wū, who pierced his chest, until Queen Medusa completed her evolution, rescued him, and defeated Protector Wū before collapsing from her injuries.
• Chen Mo remained unconscious for nearly two months while Die and Queen Medusa cared for him, and Queen Medusa promised to accept his pursuit if he woke.

Chen Mo built his partnership with Ya Fei into a romance while clashing with Xun Er’s guard and confronting Queen Medusa amid the Snake-People war. He left Wu Tan City for the Magical Beast Mountains, where he rescued Yun Yun and stayed with her as she recovered from the Lion King’s sealing technique.

• Chen Mo impressed Ya Fei with his medicines, auctioned them through the Mite'er Auction House, and began cultivating the Undying Demonic Flame until it raised him to three-star Dou Ling.
• Chen Mo sold Qi Gathering Powder through Ya Fei, drew the attention of the Xiao, Ga Lie, and Ao Ba families, and offered Xiao Yan a pill for his ring before Xiao Yan refused.
• Chen Mo defeated Ling Ying after Xun Er arranged a test, then accepted compensation from her and met Queen Medusa, who rejected his advances but took the protective armor he offered.
• Queen Medusa led the Snake-People Clan into war with the Jia Ma Empire, while Chen Mo advanced to five-star Dou Spirit and helped Ya Fei improve her cultivation and prospects.

Chen Mo gained the Amethyst Winged Lion King as his subordinate, brought Ya Fei to the Mittel Family, and used his Heavenly Flame to cure Nalan Jie. As Yun Yun prepared to leave, Chen Mo confessed his love, and she asked to answer him when they met again.

• Chen Mo made the Amethyst Winged Lion King submit by promising a Transformation Pill, then parted from Yun Yun and returned to Wu Tan City.
• Xiao Yan refused to surrender his mother's ring for Chen Mo's help, while Xun Er left the Xiao Family for Jia Nan Academy.
• Chen Mo brought Ya Fei to the Mittel Family, where Teng Shan appointed her to manage the auction house headquarters.
• Chen Mo and Ya Fei strengthened their relationship, and he assigned her the Spirit Charm Body to improve her cultivation.
• After the Jia Ma Empire ceded three territories to the Snake-People Clan, Chen Mo treated Nalan Jie’s Brand Poison with the Undying Demonic Flame.

As Chen Mo began organizing the Mo Ying Guild, he learned that the badly injured Yun Yun needed a Heavenly Flame and rushed to help her.

• Nalan Yanran broke off her engagement to Xiao Yan, while Chen Mo passed the Four-Star Alchemist assessment and attended a banquet where Yao Ye tried to drug and seduce him.
• The Snake-People Clan and the Misty Cloud Sect went to war, and Chen Mo arrived at Qinghong City as Queen Medusa was gravely wounded.
• Chen Mo killed Yun Shan and defeated Protector Xuan, then killed the Gold and Silver Elders and Fang Yan before exhaustion allowed Han Feng to escape.
• Queen Medusa forced the Imperial Family to submit and disbanded the Misty Cloud Sect, while Nalan Yanran formally ended her engagement to Xiao Yan.
• As Chen Mo recovered, Queen Medusa and Die confronted his affection for other women, and Chen Mo met Qing Lin and gave her Foundation Establishment Spirit Liquid.
• Chen Mo sent Demon Nightmare to contact Ya Fei and inquire about Yun Yun, while Ya Fei persuaded the Mittel Family elders to join the Mo Ying Guild and became Family Head.
