The carriage raced to General Zhao's home without stopping once along the way, hurtling straight toward the entrance to the rear courtyard.
A group of rough-hewn men stood outside First Madam's courtyard. Zhao Qing watched the carriage come barreling toward them and brake sharply right in front of him. With a nose full of dust, he waved the cloud away and exclaimed in admiration.
"Is that our sister-in-law? What a fierce woman! She's got Marshal Zhou's style!"
Jiang Shuyue poked half her head groggily out of the carriage. Three Zhou Yunshens swayed before her eyes.

Inside the delivery room, a bloody battle raged. Outside, a group of rough-hewn men stood utterly flummoxed in the wind.
Jiang Shuyue nestled against his chest and nuzzled him. The familiar scent and warmth cleared her head considerably.
Jiang Shuyue: [Boohoo, the Marquis's Residence's coachman is way too wild. With just one horse, he somehow managed four-hoof drive. Not even a Porsche sports car could go that hard.]
Huahua: [Weren't you the one urging him to hurry so you could feast on the drama? That's why he charged ahead with all the strength he'd use to fight constipation.]
Jiang Shuyue: [Then his constipation must be pretty severe...]
Zhou Yunshen sighed, then frowned toward the carriage and scolded, "She's young and doesn't know better, so you just indulged her recklessness? Staying up instead of sleeping this late at night-what if she feels unwell tomorrow?"
"You must be joking, Father.
