| Disembodied gossip system | 28 | Communicates privately with Jiang Shuyue and supplies gossip. Later passages place him in her Sea of Consciousness, sharing her vision 248. |
| Human manifestation | 248 | Jiang Shuyue’s offhand wish makes him materialize as a baby. The transformation consumes 1,000 Green Tea Points, leaving her with 30. His bond, mental communication, and system functions remain operational; his new body is only modestly stronger than an ordinary child. |
Background / History
Huahua chose Jiang Shuyue as his host and helped select her background. He repeatedly treats her ingenuity as proof that he made the right choice. Most of his knowledge comes from the Heavenly Dao, supplemented by his host’s knowledge and understanding 103 143 171 349.
Jiang Shuyue officially names him Huahua while they investigate Lan Ruoyue. He identifies Lan as a transmigrated “conquest player,” although her objective is initially unknown, and uncovers the wealthy admirer and mistaken-identity romance behind her previous life 85.
His human transformation occurs when Jiang Shuyue says she would rather have his companionship than several babies and wishes he were human. A silver light emerges from her brow and becomes a child resembling both her and Zhou Yunshen. Although Huahua’s system functions survive, his weak legs, altered voice, and physical needs immediately complicate their partnership 248.
Zhou Yunshen knows that Huahua has taken human form but supports Jiang Shuyue’s improvised explanation for the child’s arrival. He agrees to adopt him, names him Zhou Lu Ye, and gives him the courtesy name Jinse. The public explanation later presents Luye as a child adopted from a distant relative 249 274.
Appearance
Huahua changes from a small luminous system presence into a soft, round human baby 141 148 248.
- System form: Appears as a ball of light and is described with three claw-like fingers; he can drift, spin, and puff up when startled 141 146 148 210.
- Eyes: His large, round eyes closely resemble Jiang Shuyue’s 248.
- Facial resemblance: His nose and mouth look like Zhou Yunshen’s; his hair also resembles Zhou’s, though it remains short and undeveloped 248.
- Speech: His spoken words have babyish pronunciation, while his mental speech remains normal 248.
- Physical development: He has no teeth shortly after transforming and initially struggles to remain steady on his feet 248 250.
Personality
Huahua is an enthusiastic gossip-lover who shares Jiang Shuyue’s appetite for scandal, food, and mischievous schemes. He flatters her extravagantly, joins her irreverent jokes, and readily helps devise ways to gain money or embarrass opponents. His fascination with gossip can also distract him: he forgets to report Lan Ruoyue’s alliance with the Second and Fourth Princes because other scandals occupy his attention 103 111 113 204.
Despite their teasing, he is protective of his host. He reacts to killing intent near her residence, checks that the household is safe, and becomes furious when Lan attacks Jiang Shuyue’s place in the family. His concern is personal rather than universally compassionate; when discussing the Arsenal’s possible destruction, the narration explicitly notes that strangers’ survival has no inherent connection to him 146 153 265.
His understanding of human feelings develops unevenly. Before transforming, he struggles to interpret Jiang Shuyue’s dejection and studies behavioral science to explain Zhou Yunshen’s need for reassurance. Afterward, appetite, tears, embarrassment, and bodily vulnerability become experiences of his own rather than emotions observed through his host 104 132 250 273.
Huahua takes pride in his potential to become a legendary system. Human form expands those ambitions into fantasies of marriage and descendants, but he remains naïve about basic anatomy: he initially mistakes Five Flower’s female body for an incomplete transformation 250 251 349.
Abilities & Skills
Gossip and Information Retrieval
Huahua uncovers concealed identities, private histories, schemes, health conditions, and information about the original novel’s future 85 104 147 162.
- Broad retrieval: The narration states that he can retrieve all information in the world, even beyond his gossip feature 147.
- Hidden identities: Identifies the restaurant waiter as the Prince of Dongling’s surviving son and exposes Cao Ying’er’s male disguise 114 162.
- Locations and mechanisms: Retrieves Zhou Yunshen’s location, identifies hidden military supplies, and explains the Treasure Vault’s opening mechanism 104 115 325.
- Foreknowledge: Reveals Cao Ying’er’s tragic original fate, Liu Cheng’s future betrayal, and the consequences of the Second Prince marrying Ma Rufeng 162 199 271.
- Text-only limitation: During the palace-maid trap, he cannot identify the person behind the instructions because he reads events as text rather than seeing images 216.
- No holographic function: Jiang Shuyue explicitly notes that Huahua lacks the visual-recreation capability demonstrated by Five Flower 338.
Mental Bond and Shared Sensations
Huahua resides in Jiang Shuyue’s Sea of Consciousness before acquiring a body. Their consciousnesses remain connected after his transformation 248.
- Shared vision: Before manifesting physically, he sees through his host 248.
- Normal mental speech: His human lisp does not affect communication through their mental link 248.
- Shared food enjoyment: Although he has no independent sense of taste as a disembodied system, synchronized sensations let him enjoy Jiang Shuyue’s meals 176.
- Overheard exchanges: Others can hear their private commentary through Jiang Shuyue’s unusual thought-hearing phenomenon. The emperor, Prince Huai, and Zhou infer a range of about three hundred meters and a requirement that listeners lack hostile intentions toward her 28.
- Separation: When Qi Ye carries him away after adoption, Huahua expects their proximity to preserve a usable “signal”; no exact post-transformation range is established 249.
Concealment and Threat Detection
Huahua describes the gossip system as a special existence that cannot be detected by other energies 85.
- System concealment: Reassures Jiang Shuyue that Lan Ruoyue’s system cannot detect their gossip system 85.
- Killing-intent sensing: Detects a brief hostile presence near the residence but cannot locate its source once it vanishes 146.
- Household checks: Confirms that Jiang Shuyue and the other residents are unharmed 146.
- Scheme detection: Uncovers attempts to drug Jiang Shuyue and frame her for adultery, including a later plot arranged by Consort Shu 216 274.
Green Tea Points and Item Exchange
Huahua tracks Jiang Shuyue’s Green Tea Points, reports rewards, and handles exchanges for medicinal pills 86 132 240 248.
- Reward notices: Announces point gains from social exchanges and calculated displays of innocence or vulnerability 86 240 211.
- Medicinal purchases: Supplies pills bought with points and helps assess which illnesses Jiang Shuyue can treat 132 133.
- Exchange restrictions: Explains that future machines cannot be redeemed simply by accumulating more points. Medicinal pills are permitted as an ancient legacy, while later technology occupies a different place in the timeline and chain of causation 204.
- “Tyrant Body” bonus: Helps make Jiang Shuyue’s grip impossible for the emperor to break during her court tantrum 270.
- Transformation cost: His human manifestation draws its payment from his host’s points, not a separate personal reserve 248.
Faith and Fortune Analysis
Huahua recognizes the power of faith generated by gratitude during Jiang Shuyue’s medicine distribution 148.
- Faith sensing: Jiang Shuyue can perceive the new force because of him 148.
- Resource distinction: Explains that faith has no fixed supply, unlike the world’s limited fortune points 148.
- Potential benefits: Describes improved luck at lower quantities and far greater access to the Heavenly Dao’s power at higher quantities 148.
- Practical limits: Warns that faith is difficult to accumulate, even for monks who spend their lives doing good 148.
- Fortune monitoring: Celebrates an eighty-point increase in Jiang Shuyue’s Fortune Value after Lan Ruoyue’s public disgrace 331.
Technical and Tactical Advice
Huahua applies retrieved knowledge to practical dangers rather than only recounting scandals 153 215.
- Weapons safety: Identifies altered gunpowder proportions that increase explosive power while sharply reducing safety, warning that production could destroy the Arsenal 153.
- Combat weaknesses: Reveals Meng Taiqi’s old injuries during his fight with Jiang Chen 215.
- Historical technology: Distinguishes weapons known to Jiang Shuyue from those not yet developed in Great Zhou 162.
- Medicinal cover stories: Suggests ordinary ingredients for summer teas so Jiang Shuyue can disguise the supernatural source of her medicine 144.
Human Body
Human form permits Huahua to act physically, but does not give him an adult’s strength or independence 248 261.
- Limited strength: He assesses his body as only twenty percent stronger than a normal human child, with physical fitness no better than that of a three-year-old 248.
- Physical cooperation: Helps Jiang Shuyue pin Little Golden Phoenix down and later assists with pulling radishes 261 356.
- Care needs: Requires milk, suitable supplementary foods, sleep, clothing, and protection from rough handling 249 250 263.
- Reduced size: Jiang Shuyue shrinks him and conceals him in her clothes while entering the Happy Red Courtyard; the passage attributes the action to her 288.
Equipment / Items
- Tiger-themed outfit — Made by Zhou Luming as sewing practice for Big Flower and later given to Huahua; it still contains tiger fur because she did not wash it after the fitting 251.
- Small saddle — Provided by Zhou Shiye so Huahua can ride Big Flower 251.
- Diapers and split-crotch pants — Infant clothing that repeatedly becomes a source of embarrassment and, during the Treasure Vault visit, an improvised hiding place for valuables 273 325.
Relationships
- Jiang Shuyue / Liu Shuyue — Bonded host, closest confidante, and adoptive mother. Their partnership combines affection with constant teasing; she fiercely defends his work when Lan calls him worthless 248 249 348.
- Zhou Yunshen — Adoptive father. Names him, feeds him, and arranges his care, despite Huahua’s initial fear of the novel’s “Great Villain” 249 250.
- Zhou Shiye — Adoptive elder brother and protector. Catches Huahua when Lan tries to throw him and reassures him that he will not let anyone hurt him 267.
- Zhou Sesong — Affectionate adoptive sibling who delights in his arrival, reacts angrily to Lan’s insults, and attends to his apparent bodily needs 250 265 308.
- Zhou Luming — Adoptive elder sister who offers treats, makes clothing for him, and participates in the household’s affectionate teasing 250 251.
- Five Flower / Lu Sheng — Fellow system and household companion. Huahua assumes the role of an experienced elder after her transformation and eagerly entertains Jiang Shuyue’s suggestion that they marry; no actual marriage is established 338 349 352.
- The Heavenly Dao — Principal source of his knowledge. Huahua views ascent to the Heavenly Dao’s side as a possible system destiny 349.
- The emperor — Fascinated by Huahua’s embodiment, sometimes tactless toward him, and willing to offer him a young duke’s title and a future place beside the Sixth Prince 273 274.
- Lan Ruoyue — Adversary whose secrets he repeatedly exposes. Her attacks on Jiang Shuyue’s family provoke his anger, and her attempt to throw him places his human body in immediate danger 85 265 267.
- Qi Ye — Caregiver assigned to feed and watch him on the first night after his adoption 249.
- Master Lan — Recognizes Huahua’s intelligence and offers to accept him as a pupil; Jiang Shuyue declines 256.

Trivia
- Huahua imagines naming future descendants 001 and 007: one with the best data and the other the most formidable 250.
- His vast database does not mean he routinely inspects intimate anatomy. He explains that systems created by the Heavenly Dao observe taboos against prying into private matters 349.
- His wish to become the first system with descendants is an ambition, not an accomplished feat 250.
- Holidays particularly excite him because family conflicts produce plentiful new gossip 366.
