With a wave of Uchiha Yao's hand, the fifty or sixty Shadow Clones Naruto had created instantly dissolved into puffs of white smoke.
An enormous flood of memories and exhaustion surged into Naruto's mind, making him stagger and nearly fall.

"Yes, Teacher!"

Uchiha Yao looked at him with satisfaction.

"Then today's lesson ends here."
"Next, practice your Shuriken throwing on your own."
Naruto nodded seriously.
"Yes, Teacher!"
Then he threw himself back into training.
Morning sunlight shone across Naruto's face.
Waking up in the enormous bed—large enough for him to roll three times along with the blanket—he felt dazed for a moment.
The scent lingering beneath his nose was no longer the stubborn mildew smell of his apartment, but a faint floral fragrance.
"I... wasn't dreaming, was I?"
Naruto pinched his own cheek hard.
It hurt!
It was real!
He sprang out of bed and rushed to the mirror.
"Hehehe..."
Naruto could not help grinning foolishly.
