Background / History

Naruto initially lived in poverty and faced hostility, fear, and indifference from Konoha's villagers. Despite this treatment, he maintained his dream of becoming Hokage. Uchiha Yao encountered him at Ichiraku Ramen, fed him, and spoke to him about the Hokage's role, beginning a mentor-disciple relationship 112.

After Yao became Hokage, Naruto moved into the Hokage's residence.
