  • Itachi recognized Uchiha Yao and trembled as Yao reminded him of his past and forced him to look up.

Ch. 477The cruelest punishment, Itachi's doom!

Uchiha Yao told Itachi that Konoha had prospered under his rule and that Itachi’s sacrifices had been unnecessary, then sealed Itachi away and made him suffer soul-deep torment. He inflicted the same punishment on Hiruzen Sarutobi, leaving both men trapped in agony.

  • Uchiha Yao told Itachi that he had killed Danzo and Utatane Koharu, forced Hiruzen Sarutobi to resign, and later killed him.
  • Uchiha Yao revealed that he had become the Fifth Hokage, strengthened the Uchiha Clan, annexed Sunagakure and Kirigakure, and was conquering the remaining villages.
  • Itachi collapsed as he realized Uchiha Yao’s strength had achieved peace without the sacrifices Itachi had made.
  • Uchiha Yao used Six Paths: Sealing Technique-Soul Binding to seal Itachi in a crystal within the [Six Paths: Heavenly Dominion] space.
  • Uchiha Yao changed Itachi’s crystal so it violently extracted his energy and caused constant soul-deep pain, then imposed the same torment on Hiruzen Sarutobi.

Ch. 478The Shinobi Alliance's Rout!

  • Uchiha Yao calmly clapped his hands as his Susanoo dissipated.

Ch. 479A resounding victory for Konoha!

Uchiha Yao defeated Itachi, reprimanded Sasuke, and returned to the Konoha camp, where he announced his intention to end Kumogakure. Shikaku reported Konoha’s decisive victories, including the defeat and capture of the Fourth Raikage and Naruto’s sealing of the reincarnated Minato.

  • Uchiha Yao awakened Sasuke, told him Itachi had been dealt with, and warned him that the Mangekyo Sharingan did not make him invincible.

  • Shikaku reported that Naruto, Gaara, and Sasuke sealed Kinkaku and Ginkaku, and that Naruto defeated and sealed the reincarnated Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato.

Ch. 480A brief meeting, Naruto's moment to shine!

After the Allied Shinobi Forces collapsed, Uchiha Yao praised Naruto, rebuked Sasuke for becoming arrogant after awakening the Mangekyō Sharingan, and ordered a new attack. He then imprisoned the captured reincarnated shinobi inside the Heavenly Imperial Space.

Ch. 481The Allied Forces' Despair and Mifune's Proposal!

At the Allied Forces' camp, Ōnoki and Darui argued over whether to fight or flee after Uchiha Yao’s devastating victory. Mifune proposed using infiltration squads sent into the Land of Fire to threaten its civilians, while Konan silently feared that the plan would only provoke Uchiha Yao.

  • Ōnoki warned Darui that the Allied Forces could not rescue the Raikage by fighting Uchiha Yao, and argued they should surrender or retreat.
  • Darui rejected Ōnoki’s suggestion and insisted they must rescue the Raikage and find the missing Lord B.
  • Mifune stopped their argument and proposed negotiating with Konoha using the Allied Forces’ leverage.
  • Mifune revealed that elite infiltration squads had been sent into the Land of Fire to destroy civilian settlements, granaries, and water sources.
  • Ōnoki and Darui agreed to contact the squads and intensify the destruction, while Konan feared the threat would enrage Uchiha Yao.

Ch. 482Darui and Kitsuchi set out as envoys to Konoha!

After the Allied Forces agreed to feign surrender to gain time and leverage, Darui and Kitsuchi led an advance delegation to Konoha to request peace talks. Uchiha Yao heard of their arrival, and Shikaku Nara asked whether he would receive them or turn them away.

  • Ōnoki persuaded Darui to cooperate with the plan, and Mifune explained they would act defeated to secure a meeting and buy time.
  • Darui volunteered to lead the delegation, and Kitsuchi joined him because Iwagakure needed a representative with standing.
  • Darui and Kitsuchi left the Allied Forces' camp under a white flag with about a dozen shinobi.
  • Uchiha Shunichi and Hyuga Tokuma intercepted the delegation at Konoha's security perimeter, and Shunichi threatened to kill anyone who attacked.
  • Darui restrained his companions and asked to meet the Hokage for peace talks, while Shunichi ordered Tokuma to watch them.
  • An ANBU told Uchiha Yao that Darui and Kitsuchi had requested an audience, and Shikaku Nara asked whether Yao would see them or send them away.

Ch. 483Negotiations: Darui's humble stance!

Uchiha Yao received Darui and Kitsuchi, forced them to their knees with his overwhelming pressure, and heard their terms for peace. Darui sought the Raikage’s release and Killer B’s return, while Kitsuchi offered Iwagakure’s compensation; the negotiations remained unresolved.

  • Uchiha Yao agreed to meet Darui and Kitsuchi, while the rest of their delegation had to wait outside.
  • Uchiha Yao’s pressure forced Darui and Kitsuchi to kneel, and he demanded to know why they had come.
  • Darui admitted the Hidden Cloud Village’s defeat and offered compensation, then asked Uchiha Yao to release the Raikage and return Killer B.
  • Uchiha Yao denied holding Killer B and blamed Uchiha Obito and Orochimaru for his capture.
  • Darui offered a permanent peace treaty in exchange for the Raikage’s release, and Kitsuchi offered compensation and peace talks on Iwagakure’s behalf.

Ch. 484Darui's trump card!

Darui and Kitsuchi tried to persuade Uchiha Yao to accept their villages’ submission and negotiate peace, but Yao rejected them and defended his plan to unify the Shinobi World by force. Darui then revealed that infiltration forces were already deep inside the Land of Fire.

  • Darui offered Konoha leadership over Hidden Cloud Village and Iwagakure in exchange for releasing the Raikage and halting its advance, while Kitsuchi backed his proposal.
  • Uchiha Yao dismissed their offer, saying Konoha had already won and could conquer the Shinobi World instead of accepting their worthless acknowledgment.
  • Darui appealed to Yao’s compassion and warned that unification would cause deaths and suffering, but Yao blamed the five shinobi villages and great nations for recurring wars.
  • Uchiha Yao declared that he would erase competing voices and make Konoha the sole power, calling that true peace.
  • Darui revealed that infiltration forces sent by his side should already be deep within the Land of Fire.

Ch. 485An ultimatum: Uchiha Yao's demands!

Uchiha Yao revealed that Konoha had destroyed the Cloud and Stone infiltration forces, leaving Darui and Kitsuchi without leverage. He demanded that Kumogakure and Iwagakure dissolve, join Konoha, and help bring the surrounding lands under the Land of Fire, then made clear he was informing them rather than negotiating.

  • Shikaku Nara showed Darui and Kitsuchi records proving Konoha had tracked and annihilated their infiltrating squads.
  • Shikaku explained that Konoha's surveillance network and border forces had anticipated the infiltration, while Darui realized the Hidden Cloud had lost its final leverage.
  • Uchiha Yao offered terms: Kumogakure and Iwagakure must dissolve, and their shinobi must join Konoha unconditionally.
  • Uchiha Yao demanded that the Land of Earth, the Land of Lightning, and nearby vassal states come under the Land of Fire, with the daimyo system and national borders abolished.
  • Kitsuchi rejected the demand as an attack on Iwagakure's history and honor, while Darui remained silent but visibly furious.
  • Uchiha Yao warned Kitsuchi that he was not negotiating but informing him of Konoha's terms.

Ch. 486The Shinobi Alliance's despair!

After Konoha destroyed the Allied Forces’ infiltration unit, Uchiha Yao gave Ōnoki and Mifune four hours to accept the disbandment of the Hidden Cloud Village and Iwagakure. Ōnoki chose to retreat to preserve Iwagakure, while Darui refused to abandon the captured Raikage, just as a black vortex appeared in their tent.

  • Uchiha Yao told Darui and Kitsuchi that the infiltration unit had been wiped out and gave the Allied Forces four hours to accept his terms or face Konoha’s assault.
  • Darui and Kitsuchi reported to Ōnoki and Mifune that Uchiha Yao demanded the Hidden Cloud Village and Iwagakure disband and their shinobi join Konoha.
  • Darui explained that Uchiha Yao blamed Uchiha Obito and Orochimaru for capturing Killer B and Han and attacking Konoha with Impure World Reincarnation.
  • Ōnoki ordered the army to retreat to the Land of Earth and preserve Iwagakure, but Darui refused to abandon the Raikage and vowed to rescue him.
  • A black vortex appeared inside the command tent, and Ōnoki and Darui took combat stances.

Ch. 487Ōnoki's lizard-tail escape!

Obito failed to persuade Ōnoki and Darui to cooperate, then vanished after their attacks passed through him. Ōnoki ordered a retreat with troops left behind to cover it, while Dodai challenged Darui to explain how the Hidden Cloud Village could rescue the Raikage.

  • Obito appeared in the command tent and claimed he had taken the Jinchuriki to protect them from Uchiha Yao.
  • Ōnoki and Darui attacked Obito with Dust Release and Black Panther, but their attacks passed through him and destroyed the tent.
  • Obito disappeared into a vortex, leaving Ōnoki and Darui facing the threat of Uchiha Yao without his help.
  • Ōnoki ordered the army to retreat and told Kitsuchi to leave the wounded, elderly, and selected elite troops behind to cover the withdrawal.
  • Darui urged the Hidden Cloud Village officers to keep fighting to save the Raikage and Killer B, but Dodai asked him how they could accomplish that.

Ch. 488Collapse: The Shinobi Alliance existed in name only!

Dodai convinced Darui to withdraw the Hidden Cloud forces and gather intelligence on the Raikage’s location, while Iwagakure retreated as well. Uchiha Yao ordered Konoha to attack the abandoned Allied Forces, leaving the smaller villages in chaos as Jiraiya and Uchiha Shunichi’s forces struck.

  • Dodai warned Darui that an immediate assault on the Konoha Camp would fail and endanger the Raikage, persuading him to follow a strategic withdrawal.
  • Dodai ordered the Hidden Cloud army to retreat in ten groups and send scouts to locate the Raikage.
  • Darui accepted Dodai’s orders and vowed that the Hidden Cloud Village would one day make Uchiha Yao repay the debt.
  • Shikaku Nara reported that Iwagakure and the Hidden Cloud forces were retreating, and Uchiha Yao ordered all Konoha forces to attack.
  • Jiraiya led the Konoha assault with Gamabunta and Sage Art: Goemon, while abandoned shinobi from smaller villages fled in panic.

Ch. 489Kusagakure's Misery, Konan Makes Her Move!

Konan betrayed the Grass Ninja seeking refuge, while Konoha’s powerful fighters crushed the rearguards of Iwagakure and Hidden Cloud Village. Shikaku reported the battlefield’s progress to Uchiha Yao and began to explain what had happened to Mifune and the samurai.

  • Konan rejected the Grass Ninja leader’s plea for an alliance and ordered Amegakure’s forces to attack, killing many and capturing him.
  • Naruto, Sasuke, and Gaara overwhelmed the Stone and Cloud ninja holding the rearguard.
  • After four hours of fighting, Shikaku reported that the first rearguard had been mostly annihilated and the allied minor-village forces had surrendered or been routed.
  • Shikaku told Uchiha Yao that Konoha’s pursuit force had caught the enemy’s second rearguard, then raised an unusual matter involving Mifune and his samurai.

Ch. 490Capturing Ōnoki, Uchiha Yao Takes Action!

Uchiha Yao learned that Mifune’s samurai had escaped because Konoha’s forces considered them no threat, then set out to capture Ōnoki as Iwagakure retreated. He found Ōnoki’s battered army hiding in the Land of Earth and invited the Tsuchikage to join the Raikage as a guest in Konoha.

  • Shikaku Nara told Uchiha Yao that Konoha’s pursuit units had bypassed Mifune’s samurai and that the survivors were fleeing toward the Land of Iron.
  • Mifune told Okita the samurai had been ignored as unworthy prey and ordered his force to return home alive.
  • Ōnoki and Kitsuchi discussed Iwagakure’s losses and resolved to hide in the mountains to preserve the village.
  • Uchiha Yao arrived above Iwagakure’s hiding place, startling Ōnoki and his troops.
  • Ōnoki demanded to know what Uchiha Yao wanted, and Uchiha Yao said he had come to invite him to Konoha to keep the Raikage company.

Ch. 491Ōnoki at the end of his rope!

Ōnoki attacked Uchiha Yao with Dust Release, but a Truth-Seeking Orb blocked it, and Yao overwhelmed the Iwagakure forces with his Perfect Susanoo. Exhausted and desperate to protect his subordinates, Ōnoki spent his remaining chakra and life force to launch one final Dust Release attack.

  • Ōnoki rejected Uchiha Yao’s offer and fired Dust Release at him, but a Truth-Seeking Orb stopped the attack.
  • Ōnoki fired Dust Release again, and Yao’s black shield blocked it without moving.
  • Uchiha Yao summoned his Perfect Susanoo, towering over the Iwagakure ninja and leaving them terrified.
  • Ōnoki summoned a Rock Golem, but Susanoo crushed it with a single stomp and sent Iwagakure ninja flying with the shock wave.
  • Ōnoki, exhausted and determined to protect Kitsuchi and his troops, drew on his life force and launched a final, enormous Dust Release attack.

Ch. 492Ōnoki successfully captured!

Ōnoki and thousands of Iwagakure ninja attacked Uchiha Yao’s Perfect Susanoo, but their combined assault barely damaged it and Yao instantly repaired the cracks. Ōnoki conceded and asked Yao to spare his people, then ordered Kitsuchi to leave while Kitsuchi refused to abandon him.

  • Kitsuchi rallied the terrified Iwagakure ninja to protect Ōnoki, and thousands of them launched Earth Release attacks at Uchiha Yao’s Susanoo.
  • Ōnoki repeatedly fired Dust Release blasts, but the combined assault only cracked the Susanoo’s armor.
  • Uchiha Yao restored the Susanoo’s armor with his Rinnegan, crushing the Iwagakure ninja’s hope and resolve.
  • Ōnoki conceded to Uchiha Yao and begged him to spare the Iwagakure ninja, saying he would go with him.
  • Ōnoki ordered Kitsuchi to lead everyone away, but Kitsuchi refused to leave his father.

Ch. 493Ōnoki imprisoned, reunited with the Raikage!

Uchiha Yao captured Ōnoki after forcing him to send Iwagakure’s forces home and warned him to bring the village into Konoha. Ōnoki was taken to the camp prison, where he was reunited with the imprisoned Fourth Raikage.

  • Ōnoki ordered Kitsuchi and the surviving Iwagakure forces to retreat, and Uchiha Yao warned Ōnoki to bring Iwagakure into Konoha.
  • Uchiha Yao bound Ōnoki with a rune-covered chain and carried him back to the Konoha camp.
  • The Konoha ninja cheered Ōnoki’s capture, while Jiraiya mocked him before ordering the Anbu to take him to prison.
  • The Fourth Raikage raged in his cell as an unidentified figure was thrown inside and landed beside him.

Ch. 494Ōnoki and the Raikage's rare meeting!

Ōnoki and the Raikage met as prisoners and discussed the Allied Forces’ defeat and Uchiha Yao’s overwhelming power. They concluded that no one could stop him and that their survival depended on whether he still had a use for them.

  • The Raikage recognized Ōnoki in the prison cell, and the two argued over how they had been captured.
  • Ōnoki told the Raikage that the Allied Forces had retreated after Konoha’s defenses and Uchiha Yao’s Perfect Susanoo stopped their attacks.
  • Ōnoki explained that Uchiha Yao had captured him despite his Dust Release and an assault by thousands of Iwagakure Ninja.
  • Ōnoki revealed that Uchiha Yao had threatened to destroy Iwagakure unless the village joined Konoha.

Ch. 496The Daimyō of the Land of Grass's last struggle!

Kitsuchi convinced Iwagakure’s elders that resisting Konoha would only bring the village’s destruction, while Uchiha Yao’s campaign spread into the surrounding countries. In the Land of Grass, the Daimyō’s defiance ended when Uchiha Enka and Konoha forces broke into his hall.

  • Kitsuchi told Iwagakure’s elders that the Tsuchikage had surrendered because Uchiha Yao’s Perfect Susanoo had withstood Dust Release and the village’s combined attacks.
  • Kitsuchi warned the elders that resistance would make the Tsuchikage’s sacrifice meaningless and leave no one in Iwagakure alive, and they fell silent.
  • The Daimyō of the Land of Grass prepared nearly three thousand fighters and vowed not to abandon his country or power.
  • A bloodied messenger announced that Konoha had arrived, and a blast tore through the Daimyō’s hall, killing several nobles.
  • Uchiha Enka entered the hall with Uchiha elites and surrendered Kusagakure ninja behind him.

Ch. 497The fall of the Land of Grass, bringing the neighboring small nations to heel!

Uchiha Enka led the Grass Ninja in crushing resistance in the Land of Grass, killing its Daimyō and bringing the country under the Land of Fire’s rule. Days later, Uchiha Yao received confirmation that six small nations had been purged and their ninja were being integrated into Konoha-led mixed units.

  • Uchiha Enka ordered the Grass Ninja to kill the Daimyō’s guards and nobles, and the forces slaughtered those who resisted.
  • The Daimyō begged for his life, but Uchiha Enka reminded him that he had rejected an earlier chance to abdicate and executed him.
  • Uchiha Enka ordered the Daimyō’s head displayed at the city gate and announced that the Land of Grass belonged to the Land of Fire.
  • Uchiha Enka issued orders to seize the capital’s defenses and treasury, execute nobles involved in the resistance, and sentence incited civilians to three years of labor reform.
  • An ANBU reported to Uchiha Yao that resistance in six small nations had been purged and that their surrendered ninja were being assigned to mixed units led by Konoha Jonin.

Ch. 498Konoha's army advances into the Land of Lightning!

Jiraiya’s army reached the Land of Lightning and Sasuke’s Uchiha vanguard destroyed the border outposts with little resistance. After joining the main force, Jiraiya ordered the troops to advance at full speed toward Hidden Cloud Village before it could react.

  • Jiraiya learned that Hidden Cloud Village’s border defenses were weak and ordered the vanguard to move in.
  • Sasuke and the Uchiha elites attacked the first outpost, where Sasuke used Susanoo to crush the defenders’ resistance.
  • Uchiha En and the vanguard finished off the remaining Hidden Cloud ninja, though one Jonin sent intelligence to the village by summoned beast.
  • Sasuke’s vanguard destroyed nearly all the border outposts over the next two hours and reported to Jiraiya that the enemies had been eliminated.
  • Jiraiya ordered the Konoha army to advance at full speed into the Land of Lightning and drive toward Hidden Cloud Village.

Ch. 499Shion's plea for help, Uchiha Yao's idea!

Shion came to Konoha seeking help after Moryo’s soul was freed and his followers headed to reunite it with his body. Uchiha Yao agreed to intervene in exchange for the Land of Demons submitting to Konoha.

  • An ANBU told Uchiha Yao that Shion, priestess of the Land of Demons, had arrived with information about a threat to the Shinobi World.
  • Shion explained that attackers had broken Moryo’s soul seal and were heading to the Volcano Shrine to reunite it with his body.
  • Uchiha Yao realized the crisis had happened early because the war had left the other nations distracted, and he dismissed Moryo as no serious threat.
  • Uchiha Yao offered to help Shion in exchange for payment, and Shion pledged the Land of Demons’ submission to Konoha.
  • Uchiha Yao accepted Shion’s offer.

Ch. 500Arrival in the Land of Swamps, Moryo's revival draws near!

Uchiha Yao sent Shion to the Land of Swamps, where he arrived as Moryo’s revival ritual began. Meanwhile, Kumogakure’s leaders learned that Jiraiya’s army would reach their village within two days and debated how to respond after the Raikage and Killer B were captured.

  • Uchiha Yao sent an ANBU member to the Land of Swamps with a special Kunai and told Shion to wait in Konoha until he was ready to take her there.
  • Sara took Shion from the Hokage’s Office and offered to look after her while she stayed in Konoha.
  • The ANBU member activated the Kunai’s Flying Thunder God Formula, bringing Uchiha Yao and Shion to the volcano near Moryo’s sealed cave.
  • Uchiha Yao sensed Moryo inside the cave and saw a sinister man performing a ritual above the monster as Shion recognized Moryo’s presence.
