At Shrek, his strength and attention to Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong began to shift the group’s relationships, while he and Xiao Wu ended the stretch together at the Rose Hotel.

• Zhang Tianyu tricked Yu Xiaogang, entered Nuoding Academy, and used system rewards to defeat Tang San, Xiao Wu, and Xiao Chenyu in early contests.
• Zhang Tianyu’s pranks sent Yu Xiaogang and Tang San into danger in the Soul Hunting Forest, and Tang Hao later attacked Yu Xiaogang after Zhang Tianyu prompted Tang San to describe the trip.

Zhang Tianyu won arena battles, pushed Ning Rongrong to change, and grew closer to Zhu Zhuqing while completing a series of system missions. After the group’s trip to the Star Dou Great Forest, Xiao Wu returned safely, Tang San gained his third Soul Ring, and Zhang Tianyu reached Level 45 before setting Yu Xiaogang up for a humiliating breakfast mishap.

• Zhang Tianyu defeated Wang Xuanlin and the Aurora Brothers at the Great Soul Arena, while Tang San lost to Zhu Zhuqing after suddenly sneezing and losing his vision.
• Zhang Tianyu confronted Ning Rongrong about her arrogance, and she chose to stay at the academy and work on changing herself.
• Zhang Tianyu took Zhu Zhuqing flying and sightseeing, killed Lao E when he confronted them, and listened as Zhu Zhuqing resolved to grow stronger.

Zhang Tianyu helped Shrek survive Spirit Hall’s plot, defeat the Imperial Fighting Team, and establish itself in Heaven Dou City. The arc ended with Shrek preparing to visit the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect while Xiao Wu worried its Titled Douluo would discover her identity.

• Zhang Tianyu led Shrek to victory over the Imperial Fighting Team and impressed Sword Douluo Chen Xin with his sword skills.
