"An ambush?" Buweit froze. "Sean doesn't seriously think a single Magic Array can trap us, does he?"

Tashan looked upward and frowned. "This Magic Array is far from simple. It seems to contain extremely powerful Water Law."

"So what? As long as we use Sovereign's Might, is there any Magic Array we can't break?" Buweit said disdainfully.

"Tashan?" Sean looked up at the man in yellow with a faint smile. He had naturally investigated the Lord God Emissaries of the Four Divine Beasts Family long ago.

The khaki spear, carrying khaki Sovereign's Might, shot directly toward Sean's head with the force of thunder. Along its path, multicolored Space Turbulence appeared within the spatial fissures.

Even with a Material Defense Lord God Artifact, Sean had no intention of taking that strike head-on with his head. He immediately clenched his right hand into a fist and smashed it directly against the spear tip.

"Boom~" The tremendous force sent Sean flying, blasting him straight into the ground.

He felt a faint pain in his right hand. The Material Defense Lord God Artifact could block damage, but the force still sent him flying. The Death Rule was not skilled in material attacks to begin with, while the Earth Law was.

"So you really chose a Material Defense Lord God Artifact." Tashan spoke coldly from above.

In truth, the moment he saw Sean block a Sovereign Artifact with his hand, he had already guessed it. Without a Defense Sovereign Artifact, doing that would be courting death.

"Haha, Tashan, there's nothing you can do to me." Sean's voice echoed throughout the Magic Array.

Tashan then shouted, "Sean, what is this Magic Array of yours? It can actually interfere with my use of Sovereign's Might to search?"

He could sense Sean's soul aura underground, but he could not pinpoint its location, and it was becoming increasingly indistinct. He had lived for countless trillions of years, yet had never seen such a Magic Array.

"Want to know? Come down here," Sean's teasing voice came from underground.

He had obtained this Magic Array from Breler through two divine clones that had both been Soul-Seeded. Once activated, it could imitate the Misty Illusion Profound Mystery and interfere with divine sense.

And once water-element Sovereign's Might was infused into it, it could affect others who were likewise using Sovereign's Might.

This Magic Array Grandmaster was far too gifted. Calling him the "Paragon" of Magic Arrays would not be an exaggeration.

However, the dispersive nature of Sovereign's Might could not be restrained by a Magic Array. In other words, the time he could trap those above was limited.

In the distance, Sean suddenly sensed an immense crushing force from the surrounding earth. This force could not harm him, but it was obstructed by the Sovereign Artifact, causing the khaki energy to immediately fluctuate.

"There! Soul Attack!" Tashan gave the order.

Just as several hundred people were about to unleash their Innate Divine Abilities or Soul Attacks, several dozen members of the White Tiger Clan and Xuanwu Clan suddenly raised their weapons and struck at their nearby clansmen.

With no defenses raised, over a hundred people immediately had their heads split open. Everyone else instantly halted their attacks, unable to understand what was happening. They could only instinctively flee from the several dozen people slaughtering their own family companions.

Yet unexpectedly, several more people within the gathered crowd suddenly attacked others in ambush.

For a moment, the group descended into chaos once more. Everyone understood that they could no longer trust anyone in the family.
