Sean rose from a Netherworld fighter to a concealed Death Lord God while building an alliance against the Four Divine Beasts Family and pursuing the Soul Pearl’s secrets. The volume ended with Sean competing for the Abia Material Plane and striking Hamlin.

Arc 1The Netherworld Campaign

Sean obtained the Nether Fruit, defeated the Four Divine Beasts Family’s forces, and became a Lord God Emissary. He joined the Plane Battlefield with Audebeu and Torres, where the three began hunting enemies and fled when Augusta Family experts approached.

  • Sean extracted sixteen successes from the Magic Array, then took a black Short Spear from Nasser and fought off the Four Divine Beasts Family, killing many and Soul Seeding survivors.
  • Sean entered Nether Mountain, found the Netherworld Fruit Tree, and used Soul-Seeded Seven-Star Demons to distract its branches so he could take and eat the fruit.
  • The Death Sovereign recognized Sean’s skill, granted him a Lord God Artifact and Sovereign Power, and later summoned him to deal with the Four Divine Beasts Family’s forces near Nether Mountain.
  • Sean planted Soul Seeds in the family’s soldiers and trapped their army in Magic Arrays, killing Tashan, Buweit’s forces, and the other trapped attackers.

Arc 2Paragon and the Soul Pearl

Sean became a Paragon, defeated Magnus, and survived a confrontation with the Four Divine Beasts Family after their attack was exposed. He uncovered memories in the Soul Pearl pointing to a hidden Sovereign Spark, investigated the Angel Rebirth Pool, and returned to the Death Sovereign as she prepared to test him.

  • Leis Jing restrained Monroe, Wuman, and Benfield with Purple Thorn Space, giving Sean time to evade their group and continue hiding in the Plane Battlefield.
  • Sean collected six Sovereign Artifacts, joined the Final Battle, and helped Audebeu and Leis Jing kill enemy commanders before Magnus attacked the Netherworld army.
  • Magnus nearly killed Sean with a soul attack, but Sean fused the Mysteries of Life and Death and gained Willpower without producing a divine spark.
  • Sean defeated Magnus by injuring him with Soul Poison and kicking him into Space Turbulence, helping the Netherworld win the Plane War.
  • After Bach warned Sean of the Four Divine Beasts Family’s ambush, Sean confronted their emissaries and elders, killing several with Soul Attacks until the Four Divine Beasts Lord Gods arrived.
  • Buweit admitted under the Death Sovereign’s Soul Bewilderment that he had pursued Nasser over an ownerless Sovereign Artifact, and the Four Divine Beasts agreed to stop pursuing Sean.

Arc 3The Hidden Death Sovereign

Sean found and claimed Fister’s Death Sovereign Spark, then concealed his new status while building an alliance to pursue Buweit and the Four Divine Beasts Family. The arc ended with Sean bringing Buweit to the Qingyuan Material Plane and asking about the Short Spear.

  • Sean searched the Netherworld for Uriel, learned that Fister’s birthplace was the Anlanda Material Plane, and recruited Feizer to investigate it.
  • Sean used Mekodo’s concealment technique to enter Anlanda, studied its Sovereign Magic Array, and arranged with Breler to preserve it after he passed through.
  • Sean entered the array’s core, took the Death Lord Godhead, and claimed the Death Sovereign Spark, becoming a Lord God while hiding his identity.
  • Sean recruited Parhaus as his disciple and brought him to train under the Death Sovereign, then sought help from Bach Ashcroft against the Four Divine Beasts Family.
  • Sean revealed his Mid-level Lord God status to Bach, secured the Nether Serpent family’s cooperation, and sent powerful recruits from Material Planes to strengthen it.

Arc 4The Abia Contest

Sean expanded his network of Soul Seed agents, manipulated the conflict against the Four Divine Beasts Family, and pursued Dannington’s mutation. When the Soul Pearl revealed its scattered fragments, a dispute over the Abia Material Plane brought Sean and several Paragons into competition, ending with Sean striking Hamlin.

  • Sean and his agents captured targets, planted Soul Seeds, and used attacks by the Babari and Nether Serpent Families to intensify the war against the Four Divine Beasts Family.
  • The Four Divine Beasts sought help from Pash, Xing Yi, and Sean, but Sean refused to aid them and traded Soul Poison to the Lord Gods for Sovereign’s Might.
  • Sean found Dannington on Lieyan Island, where Alef’s Soul-Poisoned innate ability left Dannington apparently dead, then concealed him until his fused Death and Destruction power awakened.
  • Sean sparred with Dannington for a thousand years, created a Soul Attack infused with Soul Poison, and later learned that the Soul Pearl required him to recover thirteen fragments of its scattered soul energy.
  • While Sean traveled with Dannington and Resbu, multiple Twelve-Winged Divine Angels emerged from the Abia Material Plane, prompting Augusta and Orloff to seek control of it.
  • The Death Sovereign and Destruction Sovereign sent Sean and Leicester to Abia, where Magnus, Clementing, and Bayer had already arrived to compete for the plane.
  • After 800,000 years, Bright and Dark Twelve-Winged Divine Angels were born in Abia, and the Paragons agreed to a free-for-all over the plane.
  • Sean struck Hamlin with a material attack that tore open space and sent him crashing into a mountain range, then called on him to come out.
