Ch. 42The Disgraced Four Divine Beasts

Sean and the Four Divine Beasts faced off before the Sovereigns as they investigated Buweit’s claims about his conflict with Sean. Death Sovereign questioned Buweit with Soul Bewilderment, and he admitted that he had concealed something from his family.

  • Azure Dragon summoned Buweit and demanded that he swear his account of the conflict with Sean was true.
  • Buweit swore a Supreme God's oath, and Azure Dragon brought him through Space Turbulence to the Netherworld.
  • Sean waited in the Nine Nether Domain, where Death Sovereign's purple mist had knocked unconscious every god level being within a thousand miles.
  • The Four Divine Beasts arrived with Buweit, and Sean argued that a Supreme God's oath could conceal the truth and proposed questioning Buweit with Soul Bewilderment.
  • The Destruction Sovereign objected to Sean questioning Buweit, so Death Sovereign used Soul Bewilderment instead.
  • Death Sovereign asked whether Buweit had concealed anything from the Four Divine Beasts, and Buweit answered yes.

Ch. 43Gave Them Face Without Giving Them Face

Buweit revealed that his feud with Sean began over an Offensive Lord God Artifact, exposing the Four Divine Beasts Family's responsibility for the conflict. The Death Sovereign settled the dispute, and Sean spared the surviving descendants while leaving Soul Poison in their souls.

  • Under Soul Bewilderment, Buweit admitted that he had pursued Nasser over an ownerless Sovereign Artifact and that the Four Divine Beasts Family had been at fault.
  • The Destruction Sovereign and Death Sovereign agreed that the Four Divine Beasts should stop pursuing Sean, and Azure Dragon accepted responsibility.
  • Azure Dragon asked to take away the surviving descendants, and Sean agreed while revealing he had left Soul Poison inside their souls.
  • The Destruction Sovereign judged the poison nonlethal and told the Four Divine Beasts to find a way to remove it.
  • The White Tiger Lord God asked to take Buweit, and the Death Sovereign restored his consciousness before releasing him.
  • The Four Divine Beasts and the other Lord Gods departed, and the Death Sovereign assured Sean that they would not trouble him again.

Ch. 44Devouring Lord God Might

Sean helped the Death Sovereign secure the Purple Mist, then returned to the Qingyuan Material Plane to investigate the connection between his Soul Pearl and Sovereign Artifacts. The Four Divine Beasts Family dealt with Buweit after their defeat, while Sean’s experiment began as the Soul Pearl absorbed a Sovereign Artifact’s power.

  • The Death Sovereign told Sean to help destroy records of the Purple Mist incident, and Sean agreed to keep the conflict between Lord Gods secret.
  • Azure Dragon blamed Buweit for the Four Divine Beasts Family’s humiliation, gave him a Material Defense Lord God Artifact, and cast him into Space Turbulence.
  • The Four Divine Beasts discussed Sean’s Paragon status and sought a way to remove the Soul Poison from Bru and the others.
  • Sean worked with the Nine Nether Domain’s Lord God Army to search the Purple Mist and destroy Floating Shadows before leaving for the Nether Sea Teleportation Array.
  • Sean paid to travel to the Qingyuan Material Plane, then went to an isolated island and brought out a Sovereign Artifact.
  • Sean’s Soul Pearl wrapped around the Sovereign Artifact longsword and began devouring its might.

Ch. 45Traces of a Sovereign Spark

Sean discovered that the Soul Pearl absorbed Sovereign Artifacts and preserved fragments of dead Sovereigns’ memories, including a vivid account of a battle involving Bright Master Augusta and Orloff. After all six artifacts vanished, he learned that a Sovereign had sealed a Mid-level Death Lord Godhead in an unknown Material Plane and was left wondering which plane it was.

  • Sean watched the Soul Pearl consume Sovereign Artifacts and realized that it contained fragments of dead Sovereigns’ memories.
  • Sean witnessed a memory of the Four Divine Beasts killing a Sovereign with their Combined Innate Divine Ability.
  • Sean viewed a clear memory in which a Dark and Death Dual Attribute Lord God used the Soul Pearl to block a Destiny Supreme God Sword before Orloff killed him.
  • Sean identified the figures in the memory as Bright Master Augusta and Orloff, and inferred that the Soul Pearl had once belonged to the slain Lord God.
  • After the six Sovereign Artifacts disappeared, Sean concluded that a Mid-level Death Lord Godhead had been sealed in an unknown Material Plane.

Ch. 46Planning for a Sovereign Spark

After learning of a dead Sovereign's hidden Sovereign Spark, Sean prioritized finding the Sovereign's identity and Material Plane while keeping his family safe. He traveled to the Netherworld to investigate which region the dead Sovereign had ruled, wary of alerting the Death Sovereign.

  • Sean asked Robbes to summon Breler to the Azure Origin Plane and offer him Sovereign's Might for his help.
  • Sean gave Tuoya and Claire Water Element Sovereign's Might and Dark Lord God Power, but told them to remain in the Material Plane for now.
  • Breler arrived, and Sean gave him three drops of Light Sovereign Power before asking him to stay in the plane.
  • Months later, Sean sent his Death God Avatar to the Netherworld and traveled to the Nether Sea.
  • Sean decided to identify which of the Nether Sea's six regions the dead Sovereign had controlled before asking the Death Sovereign about the hidden Sovereign Spark.

Ch. 47Clues and Traces

Sean investigated the disappearance of the Lord God governing the Youluo Domain, hoping to identify the Material Plane where the Lord God had been born. Unable to find the information he needed, he set the investigation aside and headed to Nether Mountain to keep his promise to Death Sovereign.

  • Sean planted a Soul Seed in Olga and learned that Prefect Lord Vasilis's son, Nix, might know about Vasilis's visits to a Lord God.
  • Sean planted Soul Seeds in people on Blue Micro Island, and Nix told him that the Youluo Domain's Lord God had disappeared and another Lord God had occasionally sent Sovereign's Might as rewards.
  • Sean questioned Andre at the Nether Sea's Teleportation Array and learned that Material Planes had fixed numbers even when their names changed.
  • Sean realized he needed the missing Lord God's Material Plane name or number to investigate further, but had no way to find it.
  • Sean abandoned the search for the moment and flew toward Nether Mountain to fulfill his promise to Death Sovereign.

Ch. 48The Dark Lord's Visit

Sean met the Dark Lord, who asked him to create a Soul Stripping Fragment of the Evil Profundity for one of his descendants. The Dark Lord took Sean to the Dark God Plane, where Sean arrived at the Dark Angel Rebirth Pools.

  • Sean visited the Death Sovereign and learned that the Dark Lord had come to see him.
  • The Dark Lord asked Sean to strip a Soul Stripping Fragment of the Evil Profundity for his descendant, and Sean agreed.
  • The Dark Lord took Sean through the Space Turbulence to the Dark God Plane.
  • The Dark Lord brought Sean to the Mist Source on the Phantom Night Continent and showed him several Dark Angel Rebirth Pools.

Ch. 49Dark Angel Rebirth Pool

Sean learned how the Angel Rebirth Pools protected angels from soul-based interference and agreed to study one for the Dark Lord. After collecting a Soul Stripping Fragment for him, Sean received his payment and began preparing to investigate the pool for clues about the angel in the Soul Pearl.

  • Sean asked the Dark Lord how the Angel Rebirth Pool created angels whose loyalty could not be altered by Soul Seeds or Soul Bewilderment.
  • The Dark Lord explained that the pools were treasures on the level of Supreme Gods and that even Lord Gods could not study or interfere with the angels’ memories.
  • Sean agreed to research the pool and asked whether its angels could be examined; the Dark Lord said they remained protected even if a Lord God ended their contract with it.
  • The Dark Lord directed Sean to a group of Saint Domain experts with the Evil Profundity whom the Lord God Army had gathered.
  • Several decades later, Sean gave the Dark Lord a Soul Stripping Fragment, received ten thousand drops each of Death Sovereign Power and Dark Lord God Power, and asked to study the Angel Rebirth Pool.

Ch. 50Soul Bewilderment Angel

Sean studied the patterns around the Dark Angel Rebirth Pools for several thousand years but made no progress, then prepared to return to the Netherworld. Before sending him back, the Dark Lord asked him to try Soul Bewilderment on a free Twelve-Winged Divine Angel, and Sean successfully reached the angel’s memories.

  • The Dark Lord let Sean inspect the Angel Rebirth Pools and told Joshua to show him around.
  • Sean copied a pool’s pattern and asked Breler to study it, but neither of them understood it.
  • After several thousand years without progress, Sean decided to leave for the Netherworld, where Lady Death Sovereign had requested his return.
  • The Dark Lord brought Sean an unconscious free Twelve-Winged Divine Angel and asked him to test whether Soul Bewilderment would work.
  • Sean’s gray beam overcame the pool-like energy in the angel’s mind, and he found the memories he sought.

Ch. 51Hope of Success

Sean secretly examined a divine angel’s memories and learned that Uriel, a trusted angel of the fallen Lord God Fister, might know the location of Fister’s Material Plane. Back in the Netherworld, Sean discussed soul-fragment stripping with the Death Sovereign, who then proposed testing his strength against Sean using only profound mysteries.

  • Sean learned from the angel’s memories that Uriel had served Fister and might know the location of Fister’s Material Plane, though the angel himself did not know it.
  • Sean secretly Soul Seeded the angel and ordered him to act as usual, then told the Dark Lord that he could not examine the angel’s memories or use Soul Bewilderment.
  • The Dark Lord returned Sean to Nether Mountain, where the Death Sovereign asked about his success rate at stripping soul fragments.
  • Sean and the Death Sovereign discussed how soul fragments and Faith Power could help Lord God descendants overcome obstacles in cultivation.
  • The Death Sovereign said she wanted to test what it felt like to fight a Death Rule Paragon, and Sean questioned whether he could challenge her even without Willpower.

Ch. 52Sparring with the Death Sovereign

Sean sparred with the Death Sovereign in a God Plane she had created, first testing their material attacks and then her response to his Soul Attack. Neither contest helped her make a breakthrough, and she remained determined to keep seeking one.

  • The Death Sovereign asked Sean to attack without holding back, hoping that fighting from a disadvantage might help her break through.
  • The Death Sovereign took Sean to a God Plane she had created near Nether Mountain, where they could spar without disturbing other Sovereigns or Deities.
  • Sean and the Death Sovereign fought with divine artifacts for an hour, damaging the plane before she conceded that his material attacks were stronger.
  • The Death Sovereign asked Sean to try a Soul Attack, and his soul-force throwing knives struck her while she sought insight.
  • The Death Sovereign said the Soul Attack had not helped her break through, and Sean reminded her that breakthroughs were rare and often came at the brink of life and death.

Ch. 53Tracking Clues

Sean returned to Nether Mountain after sparring with the Death Sovereign, then fought Lord God Emissary Audebeu and asked for help searching Material Planes for Uriel. The chapter left Sean heading to a Lord God Army camp near the Undead Sacred Mountain to find the plane guardians.

  • The Death Sovereign returned Sean to Nether Mountain and told him he could leave, asking him to keep someone connected to her if he went to a Material Plane.
  • Sean told the Death Sovereign that one of his divine avatars would remain on Nether Mountain while another went to the Material Plane with his other avatar.
  • Sean visited Audebeu, who asked to spar with him, and Sean defeated him until he conceded.
  • Sean asked Audebeu to use the Lord God Army's plane guardians to help locate Uriel, whom Sean hoped would reveal which Material Plane Feist Lord God occupied.
  • Audebeu told Sean that the guardians were at a Lord God Army camp near the Undead Sacred Mountain and agreed to notify the Commander to cooperate with him.

Ch. 54Target Located

Sean searched Material Plane guardians across the Netherworld, Hell, and the Life God Realm for a darkness-element Highgod who might help him retrieve the Sovereign Spark. After several hundred thousand years of investigation, he reached Xiya Continent and found a darkness-element Highgod with an angelic aura.

  • Sean arrived at the Undead Sacred Mountain and asked Kuren to gather information from Material Plane guardians stationed in the military camp.
  • Sean secretly Bewildered guardians in the Purple Luo Flower Barracks and searched their memories for planes with darkness-element Highgods.
  • After ten thousand years, Sean began visiting Material Planes and continued investigating across the Netherworld for tens of thousands of years.
  • Sean traveled through Hell's seven Teleportation Arrays and then searched the Life God Realm.
  • Several hundred thousand years later, Sean arrived at Xiya Continent and sensed a darkness-element Highgod with an angelic aura.

Ch. 55Coercion and Temptation

Sean tracked down Uriel, a former trusted angel of Lord God Fister, and forced him to recognize the vast difference in their strength. Uriel agreed to answer Sean’s questions about Fister in exchange for payment, but first demanded a Supreme God’s oath protecting his life and hiding his location.

  • Sean found Uriel in a gloomy valley and asked him for information about Lord God Fister.
  • Uriel attacked Sean, but Sean disarmed and injured him, then hurled him into a mountain and recognized that Uriel’s Soul Defense Lord God Artifact blocked soul attacks.
  • Uriel realized Sean was a Paragon Highgod and agreed to talk after Sean said he had not come to kill him or take his Sovereign Artifact.
  • Sean offered Uriel one hundred drops of Dark Lord God Power in exchange for answers about Fister.
  • Uriel demanded that Sean swear a Supreme God’s oath not to kill him afterward or reveal where he was.

Ch. 56Wish Fulfilled

Sean swore a secrecy pact with Uriel and learned that Fister Lord God’s birthplace had once been called the Anlanda Material Plane. After returning to the Netherworld, Sean asked Andre to identify the plane, and Andre reacted strangely to its name.

  • Sean and Uriel swore oaths that Uriel would answer truthfully and Sean would not kill him or reveal his presence.
  • Uriel told Sean that Fister Lord God was a Dark and Death Attribute Divine Beast with two Mid-level Lord God clones, and that he did not know how Fister had died.
  • Uriel revealed that Fister had taken him to his birthplace, the Anlanda Material Plane, but did not know its teleportation number.
  • Sean returned to the Netherworld and asked Andre to investigate the Anlanda Material Plane.
  • Andre showed a strange reaction when Sean mentioned the plane’s name.

Ch. 57What Beirut Dared to Do, So Did I

Sean learned that the Anlanda Material Plane had unusually been transferred from Netherworld administration to the Bright God Plane by order of the Death Sovereign, and suspected the Bright Master wanted its hidden Sovereign Spark. He decided to investigate before risking a visit, but resolved to gamble on the chance to obtain the Spark even if it meant offending the Bright Master.

  • Andre told Sean that the Anlanda Material Plane had been transferred to the Bright God Plane by a Sovereign's order, which he had heard came from the Death Sovereign.
  • Sean reasoned that the Bright Master had likely acquired control of the plane to seek the Sovereign Spark left there after Fister's death.
  • Andre explained that Teleportation Arrays could not identify travelers' origins, and Sean paid him ten billion Nether Stones for the information.
  • Sean concluded that he could not safely visit the Anlanda Plane until he had investigated further, since the Bright Master might discover and watch him.
  • Sean resolved to take the risk of pursuing the middle Sovereign Spark, hoping to obtain it without the Bright Master noticing.

Ch. 58The Luckiest Person in the God Planes

Sean searched newcomers to the God Planes for someone from the Anlanda Material Plane and found Feizer after six thousand years. He recruited Feizer as his student, promising to help him become a Highgod in exchange for a future favor.

  • Sean realized he could search newcomers’ memories for people from the Anlanda Material Plane without alerting the Bright Master.
  • Sean spent six thousand years using Soul Bewilderment on arrivals at the Nether Sea Plane’s Teleportation Array until he found Feizer, a Saint Domain expert from Anlanda.
  • Sean followed Feizer’s Metal Life to Black Luo Mansion and rescued him and the other Saint Domain experts after they were thrown into the Nether Sea.
  • Sean learned that Feizer had talent in the Death Rule and Water Law and had fled Anlanda after offending a God-level expert.
  • Sean offered to help Feizer cultivate safely until he became a Highgod in return for a future task, and Feizer agreed to become his student.

Ch. 59Anlanda Material Plane

Sean guided Feizer’s cultivation in the Netherworld, helping him become a dual Lowgod and later achieve Three-Essence Fusion in the Water Law. He sent Feizer’s Water Element divine clone back to the Anlanda Plane to report what he found, and the plane overseer noticed its arrival.

  • Sean gave Feizer Law Comprehension Fragments and told him to choose External Godhood when he became a god.
  • Decades later, Feizer became a Lowgod in both Death and Water, and Sean arranged for Haimas and other Water Element experts to teach him.
  • After 1.3 million years of guidance and cultivation, Feizer achieved Three-Essence Fusion in the Water Law.
  • Sean asked Feizer to leave his Death divine clone behind and send his Water Element divine clone back to the Anlanda Plane to report what he saw and heard.
  • Half a year later, the Anlanda Plane’s overseer noticed the Teleportation Array activate for someone arriving from the Water Element God Plane.

Ch. 60A Dilemma

Feizer returned to the Anlanda Material Plane, where Plane Guardian Cassius warned him against visiting Wuyou Island and revealed that powerful experts were gathered there. After Feizer reported what he learned to Sean, Sean decided to investigate the plane himself but hesitated over how to enter without attracting dangerous attention.

  • Feizer arrived at the Anlanda Material Plane and recognized Cassius, who warned him not to go to Wuyou Island.
  • Cassius and Feizer exchanged blows, and Cassius confirmed that Feizer was strong but warned that Wuyou Island held even stronger experts.
  • Feizer agreed to avoid Wuyou Island and said he would take revenge on his enemy, a Mid God.
  • Feizer told Sean that other powerful Highgods had gathered around the plane and seemed hostile toward him.
  • Sean told Feizer to build a relationship with Cassius and gather information while Sean considered how to enter the plane without alerting the Bright Master or the Lord God Army.

Ch. 61Visiting the Purple Thorn Mountain Range

Sean traveled to the Purple Thorn Mountain Range to visit Leis Jing, whom he had promised to see, and spent several years exploring with him. The visit left Sean learning how Lord God families controlled access to Sovereign's Might.

  • Sean considered how to conceal himself during teleportation and decided to investigate the aura-hiding talent of Mekodo's kind.
  • Sean teleported through several planes to Zijing Continent, then crossed it and flew past the Purple Thorn Mist Sea checkpoints.
  • Bauhinia Lord God appeared and asked Sean why he had come; Sean said he had promised to visit Leis Jing, who soon arrived.
  • Leis Jing showed Sean around the Purple Thorn Mountain Range for several years, including a pond filled with Destruction Lord God Power.
  • Leis Jing explained that Lord God families restricted Sovereign's Might to preserve its scarcity and influence over powerful Highgods.
