Inside the tiny gray plane.
Kroya's expression soured in an instant-the plane before him was filled with pitch-black flames and poisonous clouds, all of them already at legendary rank.
If he caught a legendary being and threw them in here, they probably would not last very long.
"Is the Sacred Spring Trade Guild's assessment really this difficult?"
He could not help complaining.
This was probably the first time he had been completely at a loss. The magic here was too chaotic to untangle, and even the movements of the "Rainbow Poem" could not affect those lethally poisonous flames.
If this were his own plane, he could have patiently transplanted magic plants into it, slowly wearing away the destructive flames and poison with nature's vitality.
But this was just the most basic assessment task-if these were the kinds of jobs Plane Engineers took on, how much would they have to charge? Did those Legendary Mages not care about their time?
And who would hire a Plane Engineer to restore a practically worthless plane like this anyway? Could they even recoup the cost?
Something felt very wrong to him. Knowing the Sacred Spring Trade Guild, it would never genuinely operate at a loss. The pursuit of profit was carved into a merchant's bones.
"So there must be something here that appeals to the Sacred Spring Trade Guild."
With that thought, Kroya began searching in earnest for whatever might exist here. He searched amid the terrifying poisonous flames that reached down to the plane's core and the chaotic force fields, but found nothing after a long while.
He had plenty of other things to do and could not keep wasting time here.
"No wonder they use this for the Plane Engineer assessment. It really is a pain."
With no other choice, he left
