The arc ended with Ji Ting arranging for Ling Xi to meet Qin Zaiye before Qin’s trial, and Ling Xi accusing Ji Ting of using him.

• Ji Ting and Ji Yanzhi returned from their hot springs trip, and Ji Ting told Jiang Shuoyuan and the Jiang family that he was Ji Yanzhi’s boyfriend and would not leave him.
• Ji Ting explained Ji Yanzhi’s painful past to Jiang Mingde and promised to help him improve, while Ji Yanzhi insisted he would never break up with Ji Ting.
