Seeing Danzo like this, they fell silent. They did not know how to argue or comfort him, so silence was their only choice. It was four against two now, but they felt no advantage whatsoever.
Besides, the other two on their side might not cooperate. After all, Kumogakure owed Uchiha Mu money and had already reached the point of no return. They would either perish in rebellion or die a slow death.

On the Kirigakure front, Mustache faced off against Uchiha Setsuna. Although Setsuna came across as something of a clown within the Uchiha Clan, his strength was first-rate.
"The Uchiha really are an enviable clan." Mustache summoned his Summoning Beast, but his invisibility was useless against the Sharingan. Just as Sasuke had seen through Deidara's C4, Uchiha Setsuna saw through his opponent's invisibility.
"Mizukage, someone wants to speak with you." Instead of counterattacking as before, Uchiha Setsuna spoke after dismantling his opponent's techniques one by one.
"Speak with me? Hah. What could Kirigakure and Konoha possibly have to discuss?" The Mizukage was not interested.
"Mizukage, I hope you understand where we stand. Our common enemy now is Uchiha Mu," Hiruzen said as he appeared. He had been able to travel so quickly from the Kumogakure front to the Kirigakure front thanks to Tobirama Senju's long-range Flying Thunder God.
"True, Kirigakure has a blood feud with Uchiha Mu. But if you want us to stop attacking Konoha, that's impossible." Mustache shook his head.
