After five draws, Koichi had successfully obtained his first Track Card.
Together with the one he had drawn before, he now had two Track Cards he could use at Shoryu Racecourse.
That way, he would not be going in completely blind.
Ding. Congratulations! You received the skill, Straight-Line Racing.
Right after the Track Card, Koichi drew a new skill.
Although the skill was only useful in Europe, having it was still better than not having it.
"My luck is actually this good today?"
Seeing the new skill genuinely cheered Koichi up.
Drawing a newly released skill proved that his luck was running strong.
For his remaining four draws, Koichi got carrots three times and another Track Card.
Overall, this round of draws had been quite a success. He felt he would be able to sleep well tonight.
But because of the time difference, he really did not feel very sleepy.
Still, he had to sleep when it was time to sleep.
He would have to get up early tomorrow to exercise. Fortunately, he had eaten plenty of French food back home, and now even his breakfast was authentic French cuisine.
The one upside was that Saki Ikegami had not been restricting what he ate lately.
But that would definitely change in August, since they would officially begin taking on new riding assignments then.
Once work started, he would have to watch his diet. Of course, he could still relax during his time off.
With the draws finished, Koichi washed up and lay down in bed, thoroughly satisfied.
Because of the time difference, he did not even have anyone to chat with
