Naruto strengthened Amegakure, faced Madara’s assault, and awakened his Uzumaki bloodline while Sasuke trained under Kabuto. The arc ended with Naruto preparing to confront his original self at the Waterfall of Truth.

• Naruto revived Jiraiya and Yamato, while Kabuto revived Sasuke and promised to help him gain power.
• Naruto traveled with Violet, defeated the Raikage, and accepted Gaara’s support before learning Violet’s reasons for targeting him.
• Naruto told Shikaku about his future and his plans, then returned to Amegakure to pursue new techniques and mechanical projects.
• Naruto used White Zetsu to let Sakura reunite with her parents, and after Violet killed and Kabuto revived Sakura, she joined Amegakure as a medical ninja.
• Madara attacked Amegakure with meteors, but Naruto and the village’s defenders protected the residents and Naruto defeated Madara before Black Zetsu took him away.
• Naruto honored the fallen Yoruame, arranged Amegakure’s reconstruction, reunited Tsunade with Jiraiya, and received Mito Uzumaki’s cells from Orochimaru.
• Sasuke challenged Nagato at Kabuto’s hideout, but Kabuto stopped Nagato before he could seize Sasuke’s soul, and Nagato left Naruto a clue to the reincarnation caster’s location.
• Naruto awakened the Uzumaki bloodline and, after seeing his original self attack Kurama in his mental world, decided to visit the Waterfall of Truth.

Naruto secured Kurama’s chakra, recruited allies to strengthen Amegakure, and gained Shisui’s eye and Madara’s Rinnegan in his palms. As Sasuke fought Kabuto and Obito prepared to challenge Naruto, Obito abducted Violet and lured Naruto to Kannabi Bridge, where their battle began.

• Naruto returned to Mount Myōboku, learned that destroying Kama had ended the world’s changeable state, and chose a different path after hearing the Great Toad Sage’s prophecy.
• Naruto defeated Kumogakure’s forces and reconciled with his innocent self at the Waterfall of Truth, then awakened Hinata’s Tenseigan and took Kurama’s chakra with Kushina’s help.
• Naruto returned to Amegakure with allies and built housing there, then recruited Kakuzu, Sasori, and Itachi while Nagato and Hanzō departed after entrusting Amegakure’s future to him.
• Naruto recovered Shisui’s left eye and freed Itachi from Kabuto’s control, while Itachi agreed to protect the Shinobi World and set out with Kisame to find Tanuki Shinotsuki.
• Naruto had Shisui’s eyes and Madara’s Rinnegan implanted in his palms, tested their power, and relocated Sasuke and Kabuto’s fight to the Land of Grass.
• Kabuto defeated Sasuke in their battle, but Itachi’s Susanoo sealed Kabuto’s serpent and saved Sasuke as Obito announced his new Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.
• Obito abducted Violet and challenged Naruto at Kannabi Bridge, where Naruto rescued her and faced Obito’s Kamui-powered shuriken barrage with Wood Release.

Naruto mastered Freeform Sage Art and returned to find that Sasuke’s attack on Konoha had been stopped by Hinata, while Madara and Obito began cooperating against him. As Naruto handled the reanimated shinobi and investigated a leak in Amegakure, Madara set an undisclosed plan in motion to counter Obito’s caution.

• Naruto confronted Obito, drove him from the battlefield, and sought to strengthen his senjutsu before visiting Shikkotsu Forest with Mito’s help.
• Sasuke trained at Ryūchi Cave and mastered Sage Transformation, while Naruto learned Stillness Sage Technique at Shikkotsu Forest and then traveled to Ryūchi Cave.
• Sasuke attacked Konoha, but Hinata’s Tenseigan powers helped defeat him, and Kabuto escaped with the incapacitated Sasuke.
• Naruto mastered Freeform Sage Art, then returned to Amegakure and investigated how Kabuto had learned that he was away.
• Naruto took control of reanimated shinobi from other villages and reunited several of them with family and former allies, while Madara confronted Obito and forced him into cooperation.
• Naruto revived Rasa and other shinobi, exposed and killed a masked Amegakure insider, and learned that Obito had killed Hidan’s substitute.
• Madara and Obito considered how to capture the Eight-Tails, but Obito refused to move it without a safeguard, so Madara summoned Black Zetsu and Tobi to enact an undisclosed countermeasure.

Naruto fought Madara and Obito, built up Amegakure, and uncovered the plan behind Obito’s pursuit of the Ten-Tails. The arc ended with Obito rejecting Naruto’s warning and preparing to counter his shadow-binding tactics.

• Madara and Obito battled Naruto under their oath at Ten-Thousand Ravines Plain, but Naruto defeated their Wood Golems and their armored Demonic Statue before Obito escaped and Madara returned to life.
• Naruto arranged to move Rōran’s Dragon Vein to Amegakure, powered the Proxy Brain with its chakra, and appointed Amamiya Ruri as acting village chief.
• Madara captured Tsunade to force Katsuyu to teach him senjutsu, while Tsunade remained in Shikkotsu Forest to begin her own training.
• Naruto disguised himself as Tsunade and met Dan Katō, who recognized him, gave him a genuine Yin Seal, and released himself from Impure World Reincarnation.
• Naruto, Shikaku, and Konan concluded that Obito had joined a Hashirama Clone to the Demonic Statue, while Kakuzu offered money to keep Amegakure supplied.
• Naruto sealed Amegakure behind a Four Red Yang Formation, but Obito infiltrated it and confronted Naruto and Shikaku, who explained how they could strip away his intangibility.
• Naruto told Obito that Black Zetsu was Kaguya Ōtsutsuki’s will and had falsified the Uchiha Stone Tablet, but Obito rejected his plea and left to seek a sealing jutsu and Konoha’s Scroll of Seals.
