Naruto prepared to face Obito by mastering new powers, gathering the Hokage, and awakening souls in the Six Paths tools. At the River of the Undying, Naruto fought Obito and Tsuchima, who revealed himself as Kaguya’s will, while Obito sent Naruto Namikaze into the Realm of Nothingness.

• Naruto moved Hell Valley to Amegakure, trained for his battle with Obito, and later used Kotoamatsukami so often that his eyesight failed.
• Kabuto and Sasuke found Kokusho Senju, but Naruto confronted them and took Kagami Uchiha’s left eye after a fierce battle with Kabuto and the reincarnated Might Guy.
• Naruto transplanted Kagami’s eyes, awakened the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, and had Orochimaru reincarnate Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen, and Minato with strengthened souls.
• Naruto asked the four Hokage to keep Madara, Kabuto, and Sasuke from interfering, then gave souls to five ninja tools and agreed to fight Obito at the River of the Undying.
• Naruto and Obito began their battle as Tsuchima Senju joined Obito, while the Hokage and Konan watched from above the river.
• Naruto outmaneuvered Tsuchima, created a younger brother through a reincarnated clone, and fought Tsuchima’s Perfect Susanoo with his own Susanoo and a sentient tomoe army.
• Naruto wounded Tsuchima with the Sword of Great Sun Shakugi, but Tsuchima escaped and revealed that he was Kaguya Ōtsutsuki’s will.
• Obito sent Naruto Namikaze into the Realm of Nothingness, took the Amber Purifying Pot, and challenged Naruto Uzumaki to fight without Flying Thunder God as a clone emerged from the pot.

Naruto defeated Black Zetsu with Obito’s help, then showed the Hokage a future in which Shinshiki destroyed the shinobi world and began gathering allies to prevent it. As Sasuke sought help for Kabuto and Konoha’s elders conspired against Hinata, Kakashi and Obito fought Root in the Land of Water while Root moved to attack Hinata.

• Naruto freed Obito from Madara’s control, reconciled with Kurama, and joined Obito to stop Black Zetsu’s assault at the River of the Undying.
• Naruto and Obito broke Black Zetsu’s hold over Tsuchima, who died after Obito apologized, and they agreed to hide the Demonic Statue underground in Amegakure.
• Madara took Sasuke’s left eye, but Kabuto rescued Sasuke, and Sasuke later brought the injured Kabuto to Konoha to seek Tsunade’s help.
• Naruto showed the four Hokage a vision of Shinshiki Ōtsutsuki killing him and devastating the Allied Shinobi Forces, then Obito asked Minato and Kushina for forgiveness.
• Tsunade treated Kabuto, and Sasuke left Konoha with him and the revived Might Guy after promising not to attack the village while Tsunade was Hokage.
• Konoha’s elders enlisted Aburame Ryoma in a plot involving Hinata, while Naruto sent A-Juan and Tobi to protect her and Kakashi confronted Root remnants in the Land of Water.
• Obito’s chakra helped Kakashi defeat Tanuki Shinraku’s Root forces, and Itachi and Kisame took Tanuki away before Kakashi returned to Rin.
• Root operatives trapped Hinata, A-Juan, and Tobi in a Four Violet Flames Formation, but Hinata saved Natsu Hyuga, and A-Juan attacked the insects with Uchiha Izumi’s Mangekyō.

Naruto dealt with Root’s conspirators and faced Madara after the revived Uchiha regained his memories and sought revenge for Ali and the villagers. While Naruto arranged a truce and protection for the survivors, Black Zetsu set plans in motion on the moon and used Kokusho Senju to unleash a crisis in Konoha, where Hinata confronted him.

• A-Juan and Tobi fought Shimura Mai’s Root unit, while Shikaku exposed the plot against Hinata and Tsunade detained Homura and Koharu.
• Violet killed Shimura Mai, as Itachi and Orochimaru defeated Ryoma, sealed Shisui, and destroyed Ryoma’s body.
• Sasuke confronted Homura and Koharu over their role in the Uchiha massacre, killed them, and parted ways with Kabuto.
• Madara recovered his memories after attackers stole his Byakugan and harmed Ali, then killed the invaders and set out to destroy the Daimyo’s residence.
• Naruto stopped Madara, fought him, and reached a truce under which Madara would spare the Daimyo’s people while awaiting Naruto’s Rinnegan awakening.
• Naruto arranged for Chimu Dachun to be handed to Madara, reprimanded Mei Terumi over Kirigakure’s corruption, and helped Violet reunite with Ajisai.
• Black Zetsu recruited Toneri to help abduct Hanabi and pursue the Tenseigan, then activated Kokusho Senju’s Black Spores in Konoha.
• Kokusho overwhelmed Konoha with Wood Release and incapacitating pollen, while Tsunade sent Katsuyu to aid victims and Hinata dispersed the pollen and summoned the Hamura Statue.

Naruto and Hinata defeated Toneri, rescued Hanabi, and married in Amegakure before joining forces to repel Kabuto’s army. As Naruto investigated the Realm of Reincarnation and prepared for Kaguya’s return, Sasuke launched a brutal campaign against the Land of Lightning, and Naruto received Indra’s blood.

• Hinata freed Guoshang from Black Zetsu, but Toneri abducted Hanabi and took her eyes, prompting Hinata to head for the moon with Naruto.
• Naruto and Hinata defeated Toneri, restored Hanabi’s eyes, and returned to Earth before marrying in Amegakure.
• Sasuke awakened his Rinnegan and encountered Chiri Uchiha, while Kabuto prepared an army of twenty thousand Might Guy clones to attack Amegakure.
• Naruto and Amegakure’s allies defeated Kabuto’s army, freed the clones from Impure World Reincarnation, and captured Kabuto.
• Naruto guided Black Zetsu to Indra’s blood, then traveled with Hinata and Konan through the Realm of Reincarnation and subdued the Golden-Eyed Toad, the Monkey King, and the Nine-Headed Snake Sage.
• Orochimaru extracted Indra’s blood from the Nine-Headed Snake Sage’s fang, while Black Zetsu revived Indra, who chose Sasuke as his Rinne Rebirth vessel.
• Sasuke attacked the Land of Lightning’s ruling class, defeated the Fourth Raikage, and destroyed the Daimyo’s Mansion.
• Orochimaru injected Naruto with Indra’s blood, and Naruto predicted his eyes would soon evolve into the Rinnegan as he anticipated the arrival of a greater public enemy.
