• Yi Shuyuan and General Crab’s forces destroyed the corpse shadow haunting the canal, then Yi Shuyuan captured Xuan Ji and sealed her in the Heaven and Earth Gourd.
• Yi Shuyuan arranged Zhuo Qing’s lawful release with Tan Yuanshang’s help, destroyed her servitude contract, and helped her settle in Fishmulberry Village.
• Yi Shuyuan left Zhuo Qing behind and traveled with Hui Mian, eventually promising a dying bodhisattva to find a successor for its sutra.
• Yi Shuyuan taught the sutra to awakened animals and a mountain ghoul before continuing with Chu Hang and Yang Bencai toward Longwind Prefecture.
• At the Chu Residence, Yi Shuyuan followed Chu Hang’s wandering soul into an underground lake and fought a Flood Dragon near a stone pagoda.

Yi Shuyuan helped Wang Yunchun find He Xin, uncovering the Spirit Pearl Pavilion’s plot and defeating Beiming Old Demon with the Taiyin Palace. After the crisis, He Xin reunited with her grandfather before joining the Taiyin Palace, while Yi Shuyuan and his companions departed.

• Yi Shuyuan calmed Longwind Prefecture’s flood by refining the Mountain and River Immortal Furnace Diagram into the Mountain and River State Map, then helped Jiang Lang clear the waters.
• After four years of cultivating beside Longwind Lake, Yi Shuyuan transformed into a white dragon and met Wang Yunchun, who asked him to help find He Xin.
• Yi Shuyuan, Jiang Lang, Wang Yunchun, and Stoneborn tracked He Xin to the Spirit Pearl Pavilion, where they rescued her and uncovered its connection to the Taiyin Palace and a wolf demon.
• As the lunar eclipse began, Yi Shuyuan and the Taiyin cultivators trapped Beiming Old Demon and his demons inside the Mountain and River State Map.
