Was there any need to guess? One look at him made it clear he had found a treasure.
But how could a bracelet like this count as treasure?
Puzzled, Shi Chun took it and turned it over. It was a broad, flat bracelet, its color difficult to distinguish beneath the purple flame. The sun, moon, stars, mountains, rivers, and the like were engraved on it in ancient-looking patterns, with the air of supreme craftsmanship that needed no embellishment.
Seeing his puzzled expression, Wu Jinliang reminded him excitedly, "Send your power inside and take a look."
Shi Chun glanced up at him, then did as instructed. The instant his power entered, he sensed an expanse of emptiness, plunging into an enormous space. Startled, he immediately withdrew it and stared at Wu Jinliang in astonishment. "This is...?"
Wu Jinliang babbled excitedly, "What else could it be? It holds a whole world inside-the legendary Heaven-and-Earth Bracelet! A Heaven-and-Earth Bracelet, even better than a Heaven-and-Earth Bag! Look at the space inside. It's huge! Incredible! This is absolutely no ordinary Heaven-and-Earth Bracelet. This is something only a truly important figure could afford to use. We're rich, we're rich! This trip wasn't wasted!"
Shi Chun peered around the pitch-black cave dwelling. "You found it inside?"
"Come here." Wu Jinliang beckoned for him to follow.
A screen wall stood just inside the entrance. Going around it revealed a considerably spacious hall carved seamlessly out of the rock. A raised throne had also been fashioned within the hall, with three steps leading up to a broad couch. Someone seemed to be sitting on it.
While Shi Chun was still staring in uncertainty, Wu Jinliang hopped straight up and illuminated the figure on the couch.
It was no human at all. It looked like... something Shi Chun couldn't identify
