He was the first to pull out his Wind Scales and dart away, deploying them in midair. He swept up Zhen'er, who had stayed close beside him, and flew off. There truly was no time to call everyone by name now; he had not even managed to take Wu Jinliang with him.
"Mother of mercy!" Chu Jingtang cried out as well, pulling out his Wind Scales and fleeing.
The others naturally followed suit. Fortunately, everyone had Wind Scales on hand. They had to run, and fast.
Yet even the Wind Scales needed time to reach full speed. By the time they did, a group of familiar faces had appeared beside them.
