Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang uncovered Shen Youkun’s secret excavation, stole a strange power, and escaped after killing the men behind it. In Zhixu City, Shi Chun was framed and forced into a duel, where Nie recognized his Demon-Bathing Art and ordered him released while Qi Yueru was executed.

• Shen Youkun told Qi Ziru that Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang remained in the Eastern Nine Plains, while Qi Ziru revealed the Lineage’s mission to find the Female General’s burial place.
• Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang infiltrated the mine, where Shi Chun absorbed the purple nebula and gained a strange vision before escaping with Wu Jinliang.
• Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang returned to the mine and attacked Qi Ziru’s party, then Shi Chun killed Qi Ziru and Shen Youkun after learning they knew little about the nebula or the dragon bones’ destination.
• Qi Yueru found the dead excavators and took the Heaven-and-Earth Bag, while Ba Yingshan’s men recovered the Dragon Bones and Shi Chun prepared to leave with Wu Jinliang.
• Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang reached Zhixu City and sought to join Wangbo Tower’s delivery caravan, but guards arrested them after a false theft accusation.
• Du Huoguan uncovered that the accusation was a setup, and Nie ordered Shi Chun to fight the false accuser in a duel that would end with one or both men dead.
• Shi Chun killed the accuser with the Demon-Bathing Art, and Nie summoned the Azure Fox Great Demon to devour the corpse and erase evidence.
• Nie explained the Demon-Bathing Art’s power and ordered Du Huoguan to release Shi Chun and execute Qi Yueru, taking responsibility for defying the Qi Household.

Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang left the Prison of Life, freed Xiang Lan'er from Liyun Tower, and plotted to profit from her sale while pursuing access to Mount Wukang. Their scheme collapsed when Feng Chi ambushed them, and a Shabby Old Man attacked before Shi Chun escaped with Xiang Lan'er and Bian Weikang.

• Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang left the Prison of Life, reached Skyward City, and heard about Bian Weikang's struggle to raise the money to free Xiang Lan'er.
• Shi Chun borrowed forty thousand gold, added Wu Jinliang's contribution, and paid Liyun Tower so Bian Weikang could take Xiang Lan'er away.
• Shi Chun tore up Xiang Lan'er's deed and declared her free, then arranged to sell her to Lü Taizhen through Cen Futong while planning to use the deal to reach Mount Wukang.
• Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang traveled with Bian Weikang and Xiang Lan'er, but Feng Chi and her men ambushed them in the forest and captured Xiang Lan'er.
• Shi Chun held Xiang Lan'er hostage as Feng Chi subdued Cen Futong and revealed that she had knocked out Bian Weikang.
• Feng Chi recognized Shi Chun's demonic cultivation after his right eye revealed the Demonic Qi and his stagnant cultivation began to stir.
• A Shabby Old Man shattered Feng Chi's shield and chased her away, then left Shi Chun and the others to flee before he returned.
• Shi Chun escaped with Wu Jinliang, Xiang Lan'er, and Bian Weikang, divided the bank drafts, and refused to remove Xiang Lan'er's Restriction even after she offered to lead them into Mount Wukang.

Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang struggled to survive Mount Wukang’s schemes while Xiang Lan’er and the Demonic Path pursued their plan. The arc ended with the three of them forced onto Mount Wukang’s roster for the Skyfall Meteor Assembly, as Wu Jinliang broke through to the Advanced Martial Realm.

• Shi Chun and Xiang Lan’er continued toward Mount Wukang, while Bian Weiying ordered an attack on Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang after they reached Linkang City.
• Shi Chun killed Wei Bian during the search, and Xia Fuli took Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang into Mount Wukang, where they were sentenced to a year of menial labor.
• Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang attempted to escape but were recaptured, and Xiang Lan’er persuaded them to stay on Mount Wukang and continue with the plan.
• Bian Weiying offered to cooperate with Shi Chun if he obtained the true essence of the Immobilizing Talismans’ Refining Secret Art.

Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang broke away from their contingent, captured and killed Sun Shigang and his companions, then traveled toward the Mystic Continent forces under forged identities. After taking up the search for Bai Shuchuan, they joined Guan Wen’s group, leaving Elder Ke worried about the powerful allies they had drawn into conflict.

• Shi Chun and Wu Jinliang entered the Western Extremity with Bian Weiying’s group, then abandoned guard duty to lure Sun Shigang’s party into an ambush and capture all five.
• Shi Chun forced Sun Shigang to release demonic qi, used it to advance to Advanced Martial, and later absorbed Sun Shigang’s demonic flame while Wu Jinliang guarded the prisoners.
• After Heavenly Court soldiers found the captives, Shi Chun killed Sun Shigang and the four other Falling Moon Valley disciples, provoking outrage among the spectators and Regional Lords.
