Xuan Cheng filled two cups of tea again and pushed them toward Chu Mo. Rather than explain the opportunity for Dao Integration directly, he asked, "Junior Brother, do you know where Sources come from?"
Without waiting for Chu Mo to answer, he continued, "Sources are mostly things from Otherworlds, and come from Otherworlds as well."
"Otherworlds?"
Xuan Cheng nodded. "Though Fuli is a [Heaven] of the highest order, vast and boundless, all things have their flaws. Even Fuli has its shortcomings."
If Fuli truly were flawless, why would it need to search countless Otherworlds and bring them under its rule through Unification?
He paused, then continued, "Most Root Origins that exist today were found by cultivators in countless worlds and ultimately brought into Fuli."
Chu Mo looked thoughtful. "So when a Dao Lord becomes a Source Holder, he is bringing those Root Origins into their proper places?"
"Astute as ever, Junior Brother," Xuan Cheng praised him.
"Those Otherworld Root Origins were not born of Fuli. Bringing them directly into Fuli would naturally create discord. By becoming a Source Holder, a Dao Lord can not only use a Source for cultivation, but also erase that discord."
"If you can take the Authority a Dao Lord commands to its endpoint on his behalf, you can use it to resonate with heaven and earth and give birth to a true Great Dao."
Chu Mo fell silent for a moment. "Since Root Origins are so precious, why don't the great figures above take command of them themselves, instead of letting you inherit one, Senior Brother?"
Xuan Cheng shook his head. "It isn't that simple."
"I would like to hear the details."
"There is something you don't know, Junior Brother. Root Origins are elusive, and Authorities stand aloof. Those who do not cultivate their paths
