The three fragments had come from Eternal Night, Netherbank, and the Mountain of Origin respectively. Without his noticing, three Heavenly Daos had already fallen directly or indirectly at Chu Mo's hands.
After the mountain-origin Heavenly Dao had revived through the Other-Self Aspect's sacrifice, the All Beings Aspect had already anchored itself to it. With a mere thought, Chu Mo could gain a Heavenly Dao Other Self.
Yet just as he was about to do so, his spiritual intuition abruptly warned him of a great terror, a great catastrophe approaching. He abandoned the idea on the spot.
"Why do I have this feeling of impending disaster?"
Chu Mo puzzled over it but could find no answer. It was only a level sixty-six Heavenly Dao, yet it had triggered an unprecedented warning. There had clearly been no problem with killing it outright.
"Could turning a Heavenly Dao into [me] bring some kind of crisis?" He lowered his eyes in thought.
Something like what had happened to that Heavenly Emperor of the Mystic Court?
Though the Heavenly Dao was constant and heavenly principles endured, Heaven existed only while its realm existed; when the realm perished, Heaven vanished. The Mountain of Origin was already gone, so how could the mountain-origin Heavenly Dao revive?
"Forget it. It's only one Other Self. Why cling to it?"
He shook his head and buried his doubts. Then he looked at the three fragments, his gaze settling on their description.
With a thought from Chu Mo, the three fragments abruptly merged into one. Radiance blazed!
A moment later, a brand-new item appeared before him.
It was a small fragment of a disc, transparent throughout. Within it, myriad forms of existence faintly drifted, undergoing countless changes with every instant, its mysteries beyond words.
