The Ancestor Luo did not grow angry at her words.
"Dragonkind has occupied Vastness for too long. Our Luo Clan reclaims it in accordance with heavenly principle and justice, to establish the Five Elements and Five Virtues and set the order of heaven and earth straight. How does that violate the rules?"
He smiled. "Though Vastness was nurtured by Dragonkind, that does not mean you can occupy it forever. With the Dragon Ancestor dead, you are now merely an alien race with Mahayana cultivators. How dare you defy your superiors and resist our sect?"
The Dragon Empress's face flushed, though not from shame.
Translated into plain terms, he meant that Great Evolution had a Heavenly Venerable, so their rules were the rules. Dragonkind had no Heavenly Venerable, so resisting meant failing to know their place.
"You go too far!" The Dragon Empress laughed in her fury and commanded her treasured pearls once more. Seventeen Hung Abyss Pearls rose into the air, their blazing might enough to crush the azure heavens of all eternity.
Unhurried, the Ancestor Luo raised a finger and pointed. A Long-Necked Glazed Jade Bottle abruptly appeared. The jade bottle tilted gently, pouring out endless water to intercept the Hung Abyss Pearls.
