Chu Mo lowered his sword and stood gazing at the fallen Dragon King, thoughts surging through his mind.
The fundamental mystery of that last strike came from the final law of the Six Demon True Edict. Though it seemed somewhat similar to the Extinction Life Lineage's principle that "people die when they are killed," its essence was as far apart as north and south.
The Dao of Extinction Life annihilated the target's True Spirit along with them.
This law, however, focused on punishment through reincarnation. Once the body housing a Primordial Spirit was destroyed, that spirit would be forcibly sent into reincarnation. Even if the victim had not died, they would still have to fall into reincarnation and suffer a hundred lifetimes of tribulation.

Several Dragon Kings noticed what had happened here and flew into a rage.

The Two Forms Sword quivered lightly in his hand. Long streams of black and white energy spilled in every direction, as though life-and-death reincarnation cycled within them. At the same time, the power of his many past selves flowed into the present moment.
His sword had yet to strike, but its might was already manifest.
The Dragon King charging at the front felt a chill shoot from his tail straight to his reverse scale, as though supreme murderous intent had locked onto him and the slightest movement would unleash unimaginable terror. Instinctively, he wanted to stop. But it was already too late.
