Under the influence of the All Beings Aspect, Cangyue believed that Chu Mo was an old friend of hers. But this merely gave her an additional memory; it did not change her understanding of things.
Thus, the moment she saw Chu Mo, Cangyue immediately remembered the Demon Calamity she was about to face. She wanted to draw him into her camp and improve her chances of victory.
The so-called Demon Calamity was a kind of disaster that afflicted the World Cluster. Beneath that World Cluster lay an Abyss of endless depth, which also exerted an inexhaustible suction.
If cultivators from the various domains accidentally fell into it, even their True Spirits could not escape.
If that were all, it would have been tolerable. The problem was that, every so often, a horde of Demons from Beyond the Heavens would crawl out of the Abyss. The strongest could reach the Seventh Realm, while even the weakest were in the Third Realm.

After obtaining this information from some of his local Other-Self Aspects, Chu Mo smiled faintly at Cangyue and said:
"I never imagined you were facing such a predicament, Fellow Daoist Cangyue. Since we are old acquaintances, how could I stand by with my hands tucked in my sleeves? As it happens, I have nothing pressing to attend to lately, so I shall stay."
"How could I possibly impose on you like that?"
