After the Desolate Fire Sparrow transformed, two Transformation Great Demons forced Li Ping and his companions to flee, and he headed to Creek Lake Commandery to prepare for his next plans.

• Li Ping returned to the Western Wasteland, reunited with Teng Feng, Qi Hanmo, and Bai Qing, and established the Cloudtreading Sect with Ji Shuwen and Yan Jing.
• Li Ping returned to Great Zhou, avoided Zhu Wanshou’s trap, and later obtained dragon marrow jade and breath-sinking sand to make the Origin Heaven Cauldron for the Mountain-Suppressing Softshell Turtle.
• At Green Cliff Gate, Wei Yiling and Feng Xishuang helped Li Ping defeat the cultivators who ambushed him, and he recovered Zhu Wanshou’s needle-shaped treasure.
• Li Ping brought Wei Yiling and Feng Xishuang to a hidden Eastern Sea island, where they rebuilt the Heavenly Craft Sect and cultivated while Feng Xishuang advanced her puppet research.
• Li Ping took the Desolate Fire Sparrow to an uninhabited island, where it survived its transformation tribulation and became a small boy, but the Thunder Flood Dragon and Profound Abyss Spirit Octopus attacked them.
• Li Ping escaped with the Desolate Fire Sparrow, Wei Yiling, and Feng Xishuang, then met Yu Menghan near the mainland and discussed the materials he had obtained.
• Li Ping chose Creek Lake Commandery to seek a fourth-tier tanner and prepare to defeat the Bloodwheel Baleful Corpse, and Cao Qi agreed to process his spirit hide in exchange for pill refining.

Li Ping survived the Northern Mang Mountain blood calamity, returned to the Island of Life, and helped Wei Yiling reach the Nascent Soul stage. After years of preparing Feng Xishuang for the same breakthrough, he defended her from Ten Thousand Souls High Person and his allies as her lightning tribulation began.

• Li Ping inherited Jiang Hongzhuang’s armor-making knowledge, investigated Zou Yun, and went to Northern Mang Mountain to lure the Baleful Corpse with its Life-Bound Corpse Pearl.
• Yu Shuangchi’s blood sacrifice raised a blood curtain over Northern Mang Mountain, trapping Li Ping while Xu Guike and Great Scholar Song fought their way toward the mountain’s center.
• Xu Guike killed Chu Nishang and the Mist Flood Dragon, but Yu Shuangchi became the vessel for a blood giant that killed Great Scholar Song and threatened the region.
• Li Ping rescued Xu Guike from the blood giant, then returned to the Island of Life with Wei Yiling and Feng Xishuang after Xu Guike destroyed the creature with his sword domain.
• Li Ping helped Wei Yiling survive her Nascent Soul tribulation, drove Ten Thousand Souls High Person from the Heavenly Craft Sect, and later sent Wei Yiling to deliver pills and bring Qi Hanmo back.
• Li Ping reforged the Dragon-Slaying Guillotine, prepared Nascent Soul Transformation Pills, and supported Feng Xishuang’s breakthrough after her first attempt failed and he healed her with the Longevity Art.
• As Feng Xishuang attempted Nascent Soul formation again, Li Ping, Wei Yiling, and the Desolate Fire Sparrow fought Ten Thousand Souls High Person, Madam Yin, and Old Devil Tan, forcing the attackers to retreat.
• Feng Xishuang formed her Nascent Soul, and black clouds gathered over the Heavenly Craft Sect as her lightning tribulation began.

Li Ping survived Nascent Soul formation, defeated Elysian High Person, and strengthened his cultivation and alliances while pursuing new inheritances. Decades later, he reunited with Ji Shuwen and learned how the Three Families had preserved their legacies.
