Mulan's dream had been exactly the same as Taylor's, even down to almost the same viewpoint. The moment he woke, Mulan realized that the fifth priest was still alive, but he did not know what the man looked like or what his name was.
But Mulan had a way to obtain the information he wanted. It was late at night, though, so he would have to wait.
Not long after dawn, Mulan arrived at Digo Grand Cathedral. The first worshippers had already gathered outside. Entering the cathedral gates in the morning light was considered a good omen, though few nobles did so, at least on ordinary days.
As the cathedral doors slowly opened, the two priests opening them immediately spotted Mulan, whose bearing set him apart from the crowd. The impression he had made that day was far too powerful.
"Sir Jonester!" "What brings you to the cathedral?"
Mulan looked at the two priests calmly.
"As a devout believer, I have come to pray to the Holy Light!"
"You truly are a devout knight!"
Delighted, the two priests opened the doors fully and led Mulan and the other worshippers inside.
Morning prayers were simple, but everyone remained solemn and reverent, including Mulan, who sat at the very front. Because of his arrival, a bishop had taken over leading that morning's prayers.
Mulan quietly listened to the bishop recite the gospel of the Holy Light, feeling the peace within his heart.
He now understood that the peace he felt inside the cathedral was merely the Evil God's presence suppressing some of his excessively active mind and cutting off his chaotic perceptions of other Evil Gods. With his mind drawn into focus, he naturally felt peaceful.
In essence, this also told Mulan that the Evil God above the cathedral was somewhat closer
