  • Naofumi Iwatani imagined relying on companions and finding a way to manage despite his class, then rallied himself to act.
  • Ye Uchiha described the Uchiha Clan's history, the tailed beasts, and Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju as the strongest ninja he knew.
  • Ye Uchiha said he could probably subdue the Nine-Tails and explained that Madara and Hashirama had dragged him into a fight before he was summoned.
  • Ye Uchiha described a world where even four-year-old children fought in wars, prompting the four others to apologize for their earlier complaints.

Ch. 5A hero should go solo and mow down the enemy [Revised edition]

  • Ye Uchiha reflected on why he could not surpass Kage Level in the Naruto world and became motivated by the possibility of leveling up in the Otherworld.

Ch. 7Servant summoning

Ye Uchiha defeated a Subdragon, stored its valuable carcass, and used his first servant summon, which brought Kaguya Otsutsuki into the otherworld. Unable to harm her Master, Kaguya agreed to spare Ye and ordered him to serve her while she investigated why she could sense no other chakra.

  • Ye Uchiha killed the Subdragon and sealed its intact carcass in a scroll for crafting equipment.
  • After reaching level 27, Ye Uchiha used the servant summoning function and summoned Kaguya Otsutsuki.
  • Kaguya recognized Hagoromo's presence in Ye and attacked him, but a system barrier stopped her because summoned Servants could not harm their Master.
  • Ye explained that he had summoned Kaguya into the Present World, and she questioned him about the summoning.
  • Kaguya sensed no chakra elsewhere on the planet and, unsettled by its absence, spared Ye and commanded him to attend to her daily needs.

Ch. 8Buying equipment

Ch. 10Framed in the Royal Palace

  • Myne claimed she had avoided fighting Naofumi to protect the world's hero, and Motoyasu Kitamura accepted her explanation while the other heroes grew suspicious.

Ch. 11A fate already sealed

Ye Uchiha recognized that Myne had framed Naofumi Iwatani and suspected the king and court had helped arrange it, but Naofumi’s fellow heroes and the nobles believed her accusations. Naofumi realized Myne had deceived him from the start and that the other heroes had never accepted him as one of their own.

  • Ye Uchiha concluded that Myne had deliberately framed Naofumi Iwatani and that the royal court might be complicit.
  • Motoyasu Kitamura comforted Myne while Ren Amaki and Itsuki Kawasumi accepted the accusations against Naofumi.
  • The king and nobles condemned Naofumi, whose anger and despair grew as they called him a demon.

  • Naofumi gave up on the other heroes and concluded they had excluded him because he was the Shield Hero.

Ch. 12Utterly Disgraced

  • The king refused to sentence Naofumi but warned that the country would turn against him, and Naofumi threw his hidden silver coins at Motoyasu Kitamura and Myne before leaving the hall.
  • Ye Uchiha and Princess Kaguya left after the king told Ye Uchiha to remain near the Capital for the approaching Wave.
  • A noble criticized Ye Uchiha for defending Naofumi, but his companion warned him that heroes could become powerful enough to take revenge.

Ch. 13Weakness was the original sin

Naofumi Iwatani spoke with Ye Uchiha about the plot that had framed him and confronted the gap between his hatred and his willingness to kill. Ye left him questioning whether he could truly act on his desire for revenge.

  • Naofumi Iwatani thanked Ye Uchiha for defending him and blamed Myne and the other three heroes for turning against him.
  • Ye Uchiha pointed out that Myne had left before Naofumi’s equipment and money disappeared, leading Naofumi to suspect the king had helped frame him.
  • Naofumi Iwatani vowed to kill the king and the other conspirators, but faltered when Ye asked whether he would kill them if they begged for mercy.
  • Ye Uchiha argued that Naofumi’s kindness and inexperience with killing conflicted with his strength, and said weakness was the original sin.
  • Naofumi Iwatani realized that his murderous anger toward Myne had faded into a desire for revenge rather than a genuine intent to kill her.

Ch. 14Troublemakers and the Eccentric Gentleman

  • Naofumi Iwatani followed the eccentric gentleman as Ye Uchiha watched from a nearby rooftop.

Ch. 15Equipment Creation

  • Elhart gave Ye Uchiha the Akatsuki Cloak and Tachi, explaining the Tachi’s fragility and the equipment’s unusual traits.
  • Ye Uchiha noticed the cloak’s curse weakened its wearer if it was damaged or removed, then stored his equipment and two hundred gold coins and seventy-two silver coins in his Sealing Scroll.
  • Naofumi Iwatani arrived with Raphtalia and told Ye Uchiha he needed a weapon so she could fight for him.
  • Ye Uchiha observed Raphtalia’s distressed condition, while Elhart disapproved of Naofumi’s treatment of the young slave.

Ch. 16Guild commission

After learning the danger and reaching the mine, Ye Uchiha entered the tunnels with Princess Kaguya, who refused to help unless the monsters provoked her.

  • Ye Uchiha returned to the inn and told Princess Kaguya he had accepted a monster-slaying commission in a town west of the Capital.
  • Ye Uchiha and Princess Kaguya traveled to Rhode Town, where the Old Town Chief explained that dozens of ogres had occupied the mine and driven off its workers.
  • The Old Town Chief served them lunch and sent a young man to guide them to the mine in the southern forest.
  • The young man stopped outside the mine, warned Ye Uchiha that the ogres were in its tunnels, and fled.
  • Princess Kaguya refused to help unless the ogres provoked her, so Ye Uchiha lit a kerosene lamp and led the way into the mine.

Ch. 17Ogres and the Demon Crystal

  • The surviving ogres fled toward the exit, where Princess Kaguya crushed them with her overwhelming pressure.
  • Ye Uchiha found a Demon Crystal and learned that it could unlock, teach, and upgrade Underworld Magic.

Ch. 18Skills and Magic

  • Ye Uchiha asked Princess Kaguya to help fight the Waves, but she refused and sent him away to face them alone.
  • Ye Uchiha met Naofumi Iwatani and Raphtalia in the Capital and learned that Naofumi still saw Raphtalia as the little girl he had first met.
  • Ye Uchiha watched the countdown approach zero as the Dragon Hourglass ran out and the Waves of calamity arrived.

Ch. 20The Waves Strike

The first Wave of Catastrophe transported Ye Uchiha, Naofumi Iwatani, and Raphtalia to a monster-infested region near Lute Village. Ye joined the other heroes’ battle and revealed overwhelming power against the Wave’s monsters, while Myne began to see him as a useful ally.

  • The Wave began as rifts opened in the red sky and unleashed monsters, and Naofumi Iwatani recognized the catastrophe.
  • Raphtalia spotted endangered Lute Village, so Naofumi Iwatani went to protect it while Ye Uchiha gave him three ghost familiars and headed toward the heroes.
  • Motoyasu Kitamura, Ren Amaki, and Itsuki Kawasumi struggled against endless monsters while the Berserk Chimera stayed out of reach.
  • Ye Uchiha reached the group, killed an attacking zombie with a swift sword strike, and used Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation to burn away the monsters blocking his path.
  • Myne watched Ye Uchiha display his power and decided that bringing him under her command could secure her claim to the kingdom’s throne.
