The Marines sent to investigate returned with their report.

High atop the Execution Platform towering over the square, Ace stared at the familiar faces aboard the pirate ships in the bay, shock spreading across his face...

Likewise, the captains aboard those pirate ships spotted Ace on the Execution Platform at the highest point.
