When Jig and Ace saw Doflamingo attack Barn, they immediately rushed over, one wreathed in golden flames, the other with a terrifying, savage ghost looming behind him!
Jig shouted. Though he had lost the Nether Spirit Demon Blade, he clenched his fists and charged fiercely at Doflamingo. Watching the two approach, Doflamingo wore the same trademark sinister grin. He raised one hand with a strange laugh, several nearly transparent threads appearing on his fingers!
"Fufufufu..."
Hearing Doflamingo's trademark laugh, Barn's heart lurched, and he shouted!
"Stop!"
At Barn's warning, Ace and Jig immediately stopped in alarm and looked at him in surprise.
But the instant Jig stopped, an almost imperceptible thread had already sliced through the skin of his leg. Blood flowed from the wound.
"This is..."
Barn's expression darkened at the blood running from Jig's leg. Fortunately, Jig had stopped in time. Otherwise, that thin thread might well have severed his leg!
"You're no match for him..."
Barn spoke gravely. Seeing the wound on Jig's leg, Ace couldn't help swallowing.
Barn turned back to Doflamingo, his gaze still frighteningly dark. Doflamingo, however, looked somewhat disappointed and spoke with a strange laugh.
"Fufufufu... You stopped, huh? What a shame. Something so entertaining was just about to happen..."
Hearing Doflamingo's words, Barn drew a deep breath and addressed Ace and Jig behind him.
"Go back to the ship. Leave him to me."
Shock appeared on Jig's and Ace's faces. They looked in disbelief at Barn, who had aged until he looked sixty.
"Master Barn... Your body..."
"That's right, Master. Your body can't fight anymore..."
Barn's expression turned cold, and he growled in a low voice.
"Go back!"
"Trust me..."
Barn spoke in a voice that brooked no argument. Jig and Ace bit their lips hard, then immediately turned and ran back
