After Zhou Cheng defeated five of the Six Paths of Pain, leaders in Iwagakure, Kirigakure, and Sunagakure reacted to his growing power. Kirigakure and Sunagakure decided to honor him as the new God of Shinobi, while Iwagakure turned its attention to rebuilding.
