Watching Luo Xia change his shoes by the door, Cheng Yu slapped his forehead. What an earnest, honest kid.
"Come here. Hold on to my shoulder."
Luo Xia turned back and looked at Cheng Yu in confusion.
Cheng Yu smiled mysteriously.
"Why walk when we can make a grand entrance? We're using Spatial Transfer."
Luo Xia's eyes lit up. Holy crap, Spatial Transfer! I get to try it too?
He hurried over to Cheng Yu and placed a hand on his shoulder.
Cheng Yu smiled.
"All right, we're setting off. Hold on tight."
Whoosh!
Cheng Yu and Luo Xia vanished from Luo Xia's new home.
Sea City Beach.
The sea breeze seemed particularly fierce that day, howling like a bellows working right beside them.
Luo Xia looked around. Holy crap, we're here already?
Spatial Transfer hadn't felt particularly special, but Cheng Yu wasn't paying attention to Luo Xia. He had shut off all his senses and was using his new skill to perceive the changes around him.
This was a new skill Cheng Yu had developed: perceiving his surroundings by shutting off his senses. The more senses he shut off, the farther his perception reached.
Seeing that Cheng Yu wasn't even breathing, Luo Xia knew he was doing something serious. He deployed his Annihilator Mecha and stood obediently behind Cheng Yu.
He also activated his multifunction imaging device, and the image it displayed gave him a sudden shock.
The seabed off Sea City was densely packed with red dots.
Luo Xia swallowed. The Weird in the sea were generally strange marine creatures, or water ghosts who had died unjust deaths at sea.
Through his display, Luo Xia saw Weird with deathly pale skin, half human and half marine creature, as well as outright human corpses bloated from soaking in
