He Song was somewhat puzzled.
"A traveler? In an apocalypse like this?"
Yog smiled.
"Exactly, in an apocalypse like this. You should understand perfectly well, Mr. He: your world isn't the only world. There are all sorts of worlds among the sea of stars in the night sky."
He Song froze. Was the man saying he was an alien?
The flippant man cut in.
"You mean you're an alien?"
He Song snapped at his teammate.
"Don't be rude!"
Yog didn't mind, however, and answered with the same smile.
"You could call me an alien."
After his captain reprimanded him, the flippant man spread his hands and began examining their surroundings. Hmm, it was very clean. Perhaps this place had never been attacked by zombies, but even so, it was a little too clean.
And then there was that maid-like woman, and... a mongrel?
When Grete noticed the frivolous man looking over, Grete merely glanced at him, yawned, and went back to lying down. Grete's eyes, however, remained fixed on the woman in his squad who wore a skintight combat suit.
Grete sometimes frowned and sometimes nodded, as though judging something.
The flippant man looked as though he had seen a ghost. That dog had far too many expressions.
Before he could say anything, though, he heard his captain steady himself and continue.
"Then may I ask what brings you to our world, sir?"
Yog smiled.
"I'm merely stopping by for a while."
He Song asked another question.
"May I ask how long you'll be staying?"
Yog smiled.
"I'm leaving right away."
Just then, the woman stared in terror at the sky beyond the room's windows and said,
"C-Captain!! The... the sky!!"
The clouds were violently forced apart, and a colossal object occupying two-thirds of the sky appeared before everyone's eyes.
