Belial was in a sorry state. Within the network of rules, he and the woman who controlled the Technology Rules had been almost evenly matched, but the moment an inexplicable sense of dread struck him, he had fled without hesitation.
Yet now, for the first time, Belial felt true panic. The reason was simple: while returning to the Abyss through the Dimensional Rift, he had become trapped in the space between dimensions.
By all rights, this should have been impossible. A mighty Holy Spirit getting lost in the Dimensional Rift was even more absurd than someone getting lost after arriving home.
Of course, that was not the real reason for Belial's panic. What truly terrified him was that his Divine Status had been stripped away!
Belial had been severed from the Sloth Rule. In other words, he was now barely stronger than an ordinary Epic.
Although an Epic could rule over a region in the Myriad Heavens of the Chaos Sea, Belial had been stripped of his Divine Status. Anyone capable of doing that to a Holy Spirit had to be, at the very least... Mythic!
A bizarre, kaleidoscopic dimensional gale swept past Belial, and he said in a low voice,
"Whoever you are, please show yourself!"
As the dimensional gale howled past, a hand landed on Belial's shoulder. He instinctively turned his head.
What he saw was the human who had slapped him twice before!
But now, that human stood respectfully behind another human. Before Belial could say anything,
Smack!!
That familiar, resounding slap knocked Belial's head back to its original position.
After turning back, Belial once again saw the person who had just struck him-a human whose gender he could not discern.
The human spoke.
"Hello there, demon boy."
Belial paid no attention whatsoever to his burning cheek
