As Tianlan City was the secondary capital of the Humankind Heavenly Dynasty, Cheng Yu had originally assumed that its only difference from cities like Azure Sky City and Fuzhou City would be its size.
But only after Cheng Yu actually entered Tianlan City did he realize how wildly wrong he had been. No, rather, Tianlan City itself was a little absurd.
Why did he say that?
Because Cheng Yu saw Orcs in Tianlan City-not the Half-Demon sort, but the sort found in Western fantasy worlds.
They were powerfully built, with tusks protruding from their mouths, and ranged from two to three meters tall. There were quite a few of them, too.
At the same time, Cheng Yu also saw plenty of Mages dressed in the robes and pointed hats of Western fantasy worlds.
Nor were Mages and Orcs the only ones who looked like they belonged in Western fantasy. There were slender, beautiful Elves with pointed ears, stocky Dwarves with great bushy beards, green-skinned, sleazy-looking Goblins, and Gnomes who resembled Dwarves but looked rounder, with several chins instead of bushy beards.
Beyond Western fantasy, Cheng Yu also saw humans from science fiction worlds with signs of cybernetic modification, as well as some wearing what looked like space combat suits.
There were also races with humanoid builds that were nothing like humans. For instance, Cheng Yu saw several slender members of Foreign Races whose bodies appeared clad in liquid metal, with football-shaped heads and large, eerily glowing eyes, but no noses, ears, or mouths.
Moreover, from Cheng Yu's observations, Tianlan City's residents did not seem at all unfamiliar with these people who were unlike those of the Eternal True World. Instead, they walked past these apparent Otherworldly Visitors as though the sight were perfectly ordinary, without so much as a sideways
