Securing victory

In the other directions, the three hundred thousand ships of the Ork Fleet had squeezed the remaining Tyranid Fleet's room to maneuver to its absolute limit. Countless wounded Tyranid Bio-ships could no longer even be recovered and hatched anew, and could only let themselves fall onto Ork IV to become biomass for the ground units.

The entire Tyranid Fleet was also descending. A day later, its ships had been forced down into Ork IV's atmosphere, relying ever more heavily on the Spore Tower Group on Ork IV to hold their defensive line.

The Great Devourer was under immense pressure as well. Its Tyranid Fleet was melting away like snowflakes, yet its strategic objective remained unfulfilled.

It had tried sending reinforcements, but unfortunately, they had done little good. The warp rift spanning the entire star system still remained. It was much like the scar left by the Great Rift, except that what poured out of it was not an assortment of Chaos Daemons, but an endless stream of Ork warships.

The Great Devourer began to experience what it felt like to be gradually overwhelmed by sheer numbers. It did indeed have many more Tyranid Fleets, but those fleets were still on their way to Octaria, while the Ork Fleet had jumped in as though teleporting.

This was far too unfair...

Boss Slick was much more optimistic. At this rate, he could wipe out every Tyranid Bio-ship above Ork IV within the next day, then use every Ork warship to bombard Ork IV and the enormous bug behind it.

Another day of all-out bombardment ought to kill it. If that still did not work... Boss Slick glanced at Dio's flagship. He could also find a way to improve the Dio Cannon and make it fire for longer.
