Hols paid no attention to the earth-shattering changes in the sky. He had already charged into the area around the Portal.

When it came to breaking through defenses, Khorne's daemons might have been the strongest and fiercest, but Slaanesh's followers were undoubtedly the fastest.

After a Helbrute shattered the barrier, the Slaaneshi Space Marine Warband rushed in like wolves storming a sheep pen, killing everyone they encountered.

The Aeldari warriors building the Portal were formidable fighters, but their equipment had not been replenished in a long time, and what few supplies they had were all devoted to constructing the Portal. With such a disparity in armament, their fighting strength was severely diminished.

Although the Slaaneshi Space Marines could not slaughter the Aeldari warriors outright, the casualty ratio was still staggering. In just a dozen minutes or so, they would likely kill every Aeldari here.

An explosion thundered at the breach in the barrier, and the immensely powerful Helbrute fell.

Crouching atop the Helbrute's corpse in his Ancient Aeldari form, Hols had enough fury burning in his eyes to incinerate every Slaaneshi Space Marine there.

Blinded by rage, Hols became a beast through and through. His violent psychic power grew denser, taking the shape of a beast-a wolf-like monster that enveloped his body.

There were no howls, only slaughter.

Hols's agile physique combined perfectly with the wolf's traits. He became a silver streak of slaughter, leaping among the Slaanesh Chaos Space Marines and tearing one apart with every leap.

Not a single Slaanesh Chaos Space Marine could withstand one blow from Hols. Even a Chaos Dreadnought armed with a powerful Autocannon could not hit him. Another Chaos Dreadnought, equipped with a pair of enormous Power Klaws, killed more than a dozen Aeldari warriors before turning to attack Hols behind it.
