When the Ork Warboss and Rambo started fighting, none of the surrounding bosses tried to stop them. Instead, they cleared some space and formed a ring around the two Orks to watch the show.
Infighting was another Ork tradition.
The expected scene of the huge Ork Warboss beating Rambo senseless never materialized.
Quite the opposite: the huge Ork was the one who took the beating. He was slammed flat onto the floor, his head smashing a deep crater into it, and passed out, his fate unknown.
Nobody bothered with the hulking brute now. The unruly Ork Warbosses all lowered their heads, showing fear and submission.
Rambo had no idea how he had done it, instantly defeating a boss so much bigger than himself. Perhaps Boss Slick was right: the bigger his ambitions, the bigger his stage!
At that moment, Rambo firmly believed he was the Ork legend who had inherited the name Rambo, and that he would carry on the legendary tales attached to that name.
Several more days passed.
As usual, the human Expeditionary Force began another round of Mouse Trap tactics.
This time, they chose a position atop a high slope, where their lines of sight and fields of fire could cover everything around them, while also making retreat easier.
As usual, the human Expeditionary Force began building fortifications after landing. Though these defenses would ultimately be destroyed, they greatly reduced casualties, and the Expeditionary Force was getting better and better at building them.
Normally, the Expeditionary Force had only a few hours. The Orks would attack around sunset, sometimes earlier, sometimes later, but never more than a day afterward.
This time, things seemed... different. The sun set, rose, then set again. Everything below the high slope remained quiet. On the lifeless wastes, there was nothing but sand,
