Necron Warriors

Just as expected, when the doorway opened in the obsidian wall, countless green eyes appeared inside. Silent Necron Warriors emerged from the green light, each carrying a Gauss Rifle.

"Waaagh!!!"

Meeting the Necron Warriors was another green tide: a mob of Ork Boyz charging behind their Big Mek.

The Necron Warriors stopped in unison and raised their Gauss Rifles. Green death rays shot straight at the green tide led by Cheng Mingrui.

The three Magnetic Explosion Coils on the Big Mek's armour worked together to weave a defensive field, blocking most of the damage from the Gauss Beam.

Some rays still penetrated the field, however, striking Cheng Mingrui and the Boyz behind him.

Cheng Mingrui's power armour might only have a thin surface layer stripped away, but an Ork Boy hit by one would usually lose half his internal organs. In severe cases, the gauss energy would disassemble him layer by layer, down to his atoms.

Necron weapons were just that absurd. Even the Gauss Rifles carried by the lowliest Necron Warriors were a hundred times more powerful than the Astra Militarum's flashlights.

Most importantly, Gauss Beams dealt damage equally to any kind of armour. Nothing could emerge completely unscathed. In theory, with enough Necron Warriors, a volley of Gauss Beams could destroy a human Titan.

Gauss Weapons were so absurdly effective that most Necron weapons used gauss technology. The only difference was their power output.

Cheng Mingrui considered the Big Mek power armour he had built superior to standard Terminator Armour, yet even an ordinary Necron Warrior's Gauss Rifle could damage it. Each hit might not do much, but it was just like a game: once a boss's health bar appeared, players could kill it, even if they could only chip away at its health.
