The name surfaced in Luo Bin's mind.
Yes, Jin Youde had died. He had been skinned.
His skin... had not been beside the body.
Neither had his soul!
Luo Bin had not given it much thought at the time. Jin Youde was ordinary, not particularly powerful. Luo Bin himself had simply been relatively weak then, having only recently returned to his body. His physique had been poor, and his grasp of the Yin-Yang Arts had been incomplete.
Under those circumstances, Luo Bin had failed to kill Jin Youde, so Jin Youde could only have died from backlash. That was what the evidence had suggested: the green wraith was inside his corpse, looking very much as though she had devoured his soul.
Luo Bin had accepted that conclusion. He had also assumed that the female ghost had eaten Jin Youde's skin to dispel that thin layer of resentment clinging to it.
Now, however, that skin had appeared behind him...
