Arc 41The Gu King and Cloudmist Mountain

Luo Bin refined a powerful Gu Snake, defeated Jin Lü, and became recognized as the Miao King before facing a growing threat from Zhou Sanming. He and Long Liang reached Cloudmist Mountain in search of Blood Peachwood, where Nightmare Ghosts and a red-robed Taoist endangered their party.

  • Luo Bin refined nine Gu worms into a threefold-refined Gu Snake, then entered Buddha Son Temple and escaped its ghostly trap by turning Lu Si over to the ghost monks.
  • Luo Bin defeated Jin Lü with the Miao King's Ocarina and his Gu, and Miao Chong recognized him as the reigning Miao King before destroying Jin Lü's soul.
  • Back in Gui City, Luo Bin learned that Lifespan People were searching for Lu Si and met Zhou Sanming, who sought Lu Si's soul and suspected Luo Bin was involved.
  • Zhou Sanming's attempt to seize control of Gui Market was thwarted by Six Yin Mountain and the Central Yellow Taoist Abbey, but he escaped injured and blamed Luo Bin for exposing him.

Arc 42The Ten Commandments Corpse Prison

Luo Bin survived the mountain’s deadly groves, uncovered the Cloud Dream Taoist Grounds’ schemes, and killed Tang Gaoji with a stolen sword and a costly lantern. As the corpse prison engulfed the mountain, Tang Hui agreed to help Luo Bin escape.

  • Luo Bin and his companions became trapped in a chestnut grove, where stone tablets warned that the treacherous could not leave.
  • Shen Kang killed Long Liang and later murdered more companions, while Luo Bin survived attacks by Dao Corpses and reached the Three Altars Taoist Abbey.
  • Tang Yu brought Luo Bin to the Cloud Dream Taoist Grounds, where Tang Gaoji offered him a sword and secretly plotted to take his ritual artifacts.

Arc 43Return to Thousand Miao

Luo Bin helped destroy the Three-Altars Abbey Master and escaped the Cloud Dream Taoist Grounds after Tang Yu sealed the corpse prison. After learning that Thousand Miao Village was under threat, Luo Bin returned to Three Perils Mountain and entered the village under the name Tang Yu.

  • Tang Hui warned Luo Bin that the corpse prison threatened the Cloud Dream Taoist Grounds, and Luo Bin entered it to confront Zhou Sanming and the Three-Altars Abbey Master.
  • Luo Bin fought Zhou Sanming as the corpse prison closed around them, while Real Person Muyang possessed Luo Bin and sealed the Abbey Master’s Yin Spirit.
  • Tang Yu stabbed the Abbey Master with the Three-Altars Yin-Slaying Sword and burned his body, breaking the corpse prison and freeing the mountain from its mist.

Arc 44The Snake Prison and the Old Miao King

Luo Bin killed Miao Shun, led Divine Firmament Mountain into the poison snake prison, and killed White Oak while escaping its cavern. He then returned to Three Miao Cave to save the Old Miao King as Miao Zi fled toward them under attack.

  • Luo Bin trapped Miao Shun’s soul in the Human-Skin Garment, then used Chen Hongming’s personal effects to curse him and challenged White Oak when the Taoists demanded help.
  • Luo Bin guided Divine Firmament Mountain through Python Head Temple, where the poison snake devouring body prison trapped the party until his Yang Spirit Core dispelled its apparitions.
